We’re starting to get a better sense of how the whole thing is shaking out with the Dunk and Blazer lines (among others) sticking with the Nike SB division while their signature lines have been de-SB’d and made available through more channels than ever before. Models like Paul Rodriguez, Eric Koston and Stefan Janoski’s latest all dropped with this in common, and now comes a brand new design that while not featuring a specific rider’s name in its title, has his fingerprints all over its distinct yet familiar design. Longtime Nike SB pro Gino Iannucci contributed to this simulacrum of skate and classic basketball elements, the Nike Challenge Court Mid pictured above with much of its charm borrowed from the classic Court Force hightop. This first colorway furthers the old school vibe with a palette suitable for ‘Hacksaw’ Jim Duggan; will the Challenge Court Mid be on your USA(B)-colored sneaker shopping list this summer now that Titolo is taking pre-orders?

The LeBron 9 was heralded as the first sneaker to combine Hyperfuse and Flywire. The Air Max Hyperposite, on the other hand, commands another beefed-up combination as it features the supreme breathability of Hyperfuse with the locked-down fit of Foamposite. Which one-two punch is better? We won’t know for sure until the Hyperposite becomes available later this year, but we do know that Nike isn’t being subtle with the colorways because the Blue/Volt and Teal/Pink colorways we’ve seen match perfectly with the new-age design of the Hyperposite. We first showed you this colorway back in mid-April, and immediately the ‘South Beach’ comparisons were made, and despite how hackneyed you feel the Blue/Pink color-combo is, you can’t deny the sheer ‘wow-factor’ of the total package. More detailed shots of the Air Max Hyperposite are revealed below, so take a look and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates and release information! Photos: marqueesole

The treatment of the ‘Bordeaux’ colorway from 2011 to 2012 couldn’t be more different, with last year bringing it back on the model that first established the combo in the form of the Air Jordan VII and this year flinging it onto the all new hybrid the Jordan Son of Mars. Previews have been pretty slim so far, a dry spell we’re here to break with this set that gives you a good idea of how the ‘Bordeaux’ look transfers. Stay with us after the jump for all the angles and let us know if you’re feeling the Jordan Son of Mars’ new trend towards more classic looks. Also, make sure you’ve got your calender marked for the September 15th release date of the Jordan Son of Mars ‘Bordeaux’. Photos: marquee sole

If you grew up feasting on the tank-like turf trainers with chunky mid-foot straps and terrain-stomping midsoles, this upcoming Retro release is going to fatten you up quite nicely. Sneaker News dropped the first catalog views of the Nike Air Speed Turf Max – one of which was the original White/Black/Teal/Orange colorway that we’ve come to recognize as the ‘Miami Dolphins’ colorway (Marino wore these in the 90′s). It’s got everything that makes a Turf Trainer perfect, with the aggressive design, sports-car like branding of NIKE and AIR along the body, impeccable placements of the Swoosh, and quite frankly one of the best colorways we’ve ever seen on an athletic sneaker. Extra shots of this upcoming Retro release below, so take a look and let us know what you think! Photos: ix_eleven

Yesterday, on the eve of Memorial Day, Sneaker News gave you just a taste of the Air Jordan VII ‘Raptors’. If you’ve been dying for a complete look, here’s the full spread of the Air Jordan VII, set to arrive in stores this September 1st; if you can recall, a similar colorway hit stores in 2009 as part of the Air Jordan VII 60+ Pack, but clearly the ones you see here has a solid-black upper which is closer to the Original as well as the 2002 Retro. Funny fact – all three editions of the ‘True Red’ (which the Jordan fan of the pre-Raptors era will refer to these as) are separated by 10 years. More of this highly anticipated Retro below, so take a look at the detailed gallery and let us know what you think. Photos: air-randy

Is the classic combo of blue for pop along with the neutral grey and white upper coming back on the Nike Air Max 1? Nope, look again. First of all the blue in question is a different hue than we’re used to what with the ‘shaded’ designation, second there’s a healthy dosage of orange around the accents, and perhaps most subtly of all the side Swooshes get the soft look swapped out for something new. Are you still on board? Hit the jump with us if you need any more convincing at let us know in the comments if you’re feeling this updated take on a hands down classic. If you like what you see grab this Nike Air Max 1 on preorder now at Titolo, lest you miss out when they do drop.

All eyes are laser-focused on the Kobe VII mega-mix known as the ‘What The Kobe?’, but let’s not forget that there are a few other Kobe goodies to keep an eye on, like this Blue/Yellow/White colorway we previewed earlier this month. The most unique feature of this upcoming colorway is the basketball sport-specific logos on the heels - perhaps some sort of special PE shoe for a tournament? No other details about this interesting colorway have surfaced, but we did spot a new gallery of images in case you wanted to give them another once-over. We’ll keep you updated should any other pertinent info pop up, so stay tuned and peep the new images below. Photos: hupu

Last week, we brought you a first look at this off-beat Air Jordan VII colorway designed for the girls, featuring a bubbly combo of pink and purple laid on a basic White/Black colorway. With the Air Jordan VII trending so strongly at the moment with the upcoming releases of the ‘Olympic‘, the original Black/Red later dubbed the ‘Raptors’, and one-half of the Air Jordan ‘Golden Moments’ Pack, these new kids-only releases couldn’t have arrived at a better time. No release date has been confirmed yet, but you can bet these will fall somewhere in July and August among the aforementioned Air Jordan VII releases. A gallery has been laid out for you just below, so take a look and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates. Photos: sole-awesome
