A close source to SneakerNews.com has reveal to us the upcoming options for the next round of Nike iD Air Force 1. The premium version of the Air Force 1 silhouette will be used, this will mean rolled stitched edges for all leather pieces, premium leathers and dry-fit lining. Mesh will be introduced for use on the toebox and side-panels. Also unique is, for the first time, the toe-box material and the side-panel material can be separately applied. Distress metallic gold and silver and a wide range of colors will be available for the swoosh and heel tab. Another new unique option is the lace eyelet piece can be iD-ed on its own. As usual, midsole, midsole stitching, outsole, laces and lining can each be iD-ed as well.

Take a look below for a few more images of what can potentially be iD on the Air Force 1.

I find it ironic that NikeiD will offer mesh toebox for the AF1’s but completely remove this option from the Air Max 87 & 90. The option to change the eyelet isn’t new to the iD. This option was available during the world cup options at the 255 studio. Hopefully more colors will be available in patent leather besides white & black.

I think it is cool that Nike ID is allowing general public to customize their own Air Force 1s. I read about the opportunity to make my own unique pair of Air Force 1s on globalgrind.com, just in time for Christmas.
