“This is how we take the old from new, the new to the old, the old from the new!” Yes we’re about to take you back….. Way back…… into time! The year was 1998 and that little blue pill thousands of geriatrics are thanking the lord for had just dropped on the market while another blue gem was being stalked by their grandkids! Though not taken orally, the blue blessing above is sure to get a rise out of any hardcore collector. The Air Force 1 Low SC came out mid-year 1998 and became an instant classic. From the perfect Carolina blue colorway executed in the finest nubuck, to the full grain leather all white swoosh, there isn’t a thing anyone could change about this sneaker to make it any better. Fine fleece lining and generous heel cushioning nowhere to be found in today’s AF1′s remind us of how good things used to be and brings to mind the age old adage “they just don’t make em like they used to.” If you have these stashed in your closet, room, or ballistic bunker in the mountains then you are indeed a collector. Enjoy and reminisce over where you were when these bad boys dropped a decade ago. Remember when it comes to the AF1, similar to a bottle of fine wine, they just get better with age.
