In 1997 the éS Footwear Spring Line debuted the orginal Koston One shoe. The shoes were the first ever skate board pro model to feature an air system, and an exposed polyurethane midsole. This shoe would go on to become a skate board icon as it was the very first in a series designed by Eric Koston, who is undoubtably one of the most influential skate boarders of our time. Ten years later, Erics new shoe sponsor Lakai Limited, pulls a suprising move redesigning the Koston One and bringing it up to todays skate standards and dubbing it the ‘Koston One OG’. The shoe will be released at select Lakai Limited retailers on July 1st. A matching back pack by Ogio will also be available with the drop.
