Nike Air Max 1 Safari by Atmos
This is perhaps one of the best Atmos or even best of all time collaborations ever. Before new wave collectors knew of the Air Safair or some of Nike’s classic patterns like the elephant print, speckled print and of course the safari print, Atmos created this sneaker as an homage to the Air Safari 87. Taking the Air Max 1, Atmos ‘killed it’ in every aspect, from the safari print, to the suede uppers, the orange fabric toebox and those amazing gum outsoles. One of the best of all time ever.

Thanks for the comparo. I was lucky enough to get my hands on the Air Oasis Safaris in ’06. IMO the most successful homage to the original besides the actual retro.
