This year, in honor of skater Steve Olson, Vans is planning to release two pairs of sneakers, the V79 “S” and V79 HI “S”. Olson first introduced the masses to the hardcore, punk rock culture in the late 1970’s and changed the world of skating to what it is today. Both sneakers feature a black snake-skin upper and a white rubber midsole and black toe guard. They are set to release later this summer. via Vans
