With just a little over a month before the start of the 2008 Olympic Games, Nike has been in full force with sneakers inspired by the games. A set of Air Force 1s for men and women are on the way out featuring the octagon shape that seems to be Nike’s official communication of an Olympics inspired product. This Air Force 1 has a nice and simple choice of just white and varsity purple; On the upper the toe-box and side-panels are in varsity purple while the rest are in white and on the bottom the midsole is white and the outsole is purple. As with the rest of the octagon pack the side-panels feature an ornate octagon perforated pattern. In Asia, the octagon pack has already dropped but here in the US this colorway doesn’t drop officially until August 30th(!!) in stores and online at Nike Member’s Only Store.
