This past year adidas had a complete marketing campaign and Remix collection of collaborations based around the Gil II Zero and it’s signature player, Gilbert Arenas, but due to Gil catching a curse of the NBA Live cover, he sat out most of the year and was never able to really showcase all twenty pairs of the Gil II Zero signature shoes he had helped design and create with the likes of UNDR-CRWN, Benihana, and even Halo. Now we have pictures of the SLAM magazine x adidas Gil II Zero which was supposed to have been worn by Gilbert during the last game of the season. The shoes feature a number of different features but none more exciting than the clear outsole that features artwork from Gilbert’s SLAM cover. You can read up on how this shoe came about, here. via Tomat3 // SLAM // Hypbeast
