This black based Dunk High Supreme ‘08, released just in time for the Beijing Olympics, was first profiled on the site back in April. The accent of the sneaker features black nylon, while the rest of the base is black leather, with the exception of the black patent leather swoosh. The fine colored octagon details, featured on all parts of the uppers, are reminiscent of the Chinese Ba Gua mirrors related to Feng Shui. According to Feng Shui, the mirror is shaped like an octagon to symbolize eight different elements of nature. They are supposed to ward of evil spirits and bring fortune and good luck. This new Dunk is now available in most boutiques including the Rivington Club.
