This series of Air Max sneakers is part of the Nike Beijing Collection made to commemorate this year’s Olympic Games. There is a total of six sneakers in the collection, which is made of two pairs of Air Max 87s, two pairs of Air Max BWs, and one pair each of the Air Max 90s and Air Max 95s. Each of these sneakers was inspired by the Beijing National Stadium, also known as the “Bird’s Nest” Stadium. For example, one pair of the Air Max 87s contains octagon designs resembling the eight sides of the stadium, while another pair features lined patterns reminiscent of the stadium’s bird nest design. All six sneakers feature rather subtle shades on the uppers, such as grey, black, and white, while the inner linings of each sneaker contain vibrant color. This collection will be available a select Nike retailers on August 8th, the start of the Beijing Olympics. via LSDLS
