Earlier this evening at UBIQ in Philadelphia, the second round of Questlove’s 1World Air Force 1’s released. Unlike the usual quiet but pertinent atmosphere in Philadelphia, fans came from all over and as far as VA for this release. The first campers came on Saturday, for a Tuesday night release. Mostly out-of-towners at the beginning turned into a city wide fiasco, all local news stations and newspapers tuned into the culture and tried to get an understanding of the sneaker culture by interviewing the campers. Upon release there were about 90 pairs available for the 100+ campers, inevitably some went home disappointed, while others including 8 got their golden ticket pairs. By some great chance, of the first 5 campers to purchase their sneakers, 4 of them had golden pairs. Questlove came to deliver the campers Pizza and Water at 3:00 am the night before. All store cheering quickly went from one box being opened to another as the first 4 happened one after the other. Questlove himself would slap the golden toe’s on the window each time a pair was unwrapped, and signal how many golden toe’s were left. All in all to much chaos for the Philadelphia area, fans got to meet Questlove as he signed boxes and commemorative t-shirts for the event, leading to the after party co-hosted by Stussy Philadelphia, to cap off a spectacular night. Fuck ubiq? For people who think they know so much about our stock. Heres a little fill in, we didn’t get our shipment of the ?uesto’s in until 2 hours before it was released. It was an overnight shipment so we didn’t get all of the pairs we were suppose to get. People waited longer than you and still didn’t get their pair. Is it our fault? No it isn’t. So get your shit straight before you say fuck ubiq.

And ursula…I don’t think #6-7 got the first golden tickets..The #2 (eddie ortiz jr) was the first guy to get the golden ticket. He was 2nd in line.

Ummmmmmmm? Yeah, that definitely wasn’t me who posted that above…Let me get to the point, we apologize for the whole “stock” issue. It was a rush delivery to the store so we didn’t receive the whole 90 pairs + that we were suppose to get. 1st off shouts out to everyone over at UBIQ!! I was # 8 in line and I think I may have been the 3rd in line to catch a pair of those Golden tickets…. Well worth the wait
As for the fuck UBIQ, cats showed crazy love to all the campers….I had a good time for my 2nd camp out ever and those guys definitely got my respect…Nuff Love Duckie and all of you cats out @ UBIQ, I am tryna come check ya’ll on Friday

Nooooo way in hell say fuck ubiq …they did what they had to do and did it damn well …i was number 11 and got my GOLD PAIR RANDOM i can’t stress that enough that we did no know what we were getting when we opened that box up. So UBIQ handled everything extremely well. IT WAS A DELIVERY!!! THEY DIDNT HAVE THE SHOES TIL BEFORE THE RELEASE WE SAW!!! …you ungrateful people period. I STILL FIRMLY BELIEVE IF YOU WANTED THEM AS BAD AS US FIRST 15 WHO WERE THERE EITHER STARTING SATURDAY OR SUNDAY NIGHT THEN YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN THERE.

Why are folks so salty? LOL SMDH *shaking my da*n head* … I can not speak for any one else but that ish seemed random to me … What would be the purpose of having so called “VIP” folks camping-out for DAYS in the streets, no less, for the coveted pairs? I mean, that doesn’t even make sense. LOL Anywho, there is nothing or anyone who can steal this high … the experience was just crazy!
