The Air Max 95 is questionably the most popular Nike running sneaker of all-time, with numerous successful retros this year including the Black/Neon Quickstrike a few weeks back. Now Nike has re-released the classic Black/Varsity Red or “Chili Red” as some call them, which was a very popular original colorway. JD Sports dropped them as an exclusive back in December of 2007. Not too different from the last few retros, they have a black micro-suede toe, with a graduated side panel that goes from white to dark grey, top to bottom. Varsity red accents on the eyelets, swoosh and Max Air Unit put on the finishing touches. These sneakers are now available exclusively in the US at Footaction. A few select sizes are also available on Bridge Footwear.
Style: 609048-062
Color: Black/Varsity Red-Neutral Grey
