Lakai Limited Footwear is going green with two new releases scheduled this Holiday season. The Recycled Program MJ-2 Select and Telford have unique colorways featuring new gum rubber and the re-use of regrind rubber waste, reducing new material by up to 40%. The Recycled Program MJ-2 Select is designed and tested by Skateboard Professional Marc Johnson. It features a form fitting upper with brown suede and left over materials for increased board feel. The soles feature flexible vulcanized construction with a 50% regrind and 50% new rubber gum outsole while the insoles feature full length shock absorption.
The Recycled Program Telford also feature a 50/50 combination of new and regrind rubber soles. The upper is made of black suede and left over materials that have perforated panels to increase ventilation along with the interlocking breathable mesh tongue. The higher cut offers optimal ankle support and comfort.
Both shoes will be available at select Lakai retailers October 15th.
