During the early 90s, an entire era of street skaters preferred old school Bboy kicks to the bulky high cut shoes skate shoe companies were manufacturing. Skaters went on a binge to find Puma Clydes, as well as Adidas Gazelles, Campus, and ‘Shell Toes’, forcing the skate shoe companies to produce the lower cut more casual shoes that we still see today. Adidas Skateboarding has revived and re-issued these well known favorites and updated them with today’s technology and skateboarding friendly features. Here we have the latest Adidas Skateboarding Campus Vulc in a brand new Espresso/Lava/Running White colorway. The upper features smooth ‘espresso’ brown nubuck while the ‘lava’ orange soles are vulcanized for better grip and flexibility. The midsoles are white with a ‘lava’ orange pipe to match the out sole, as well as the infamous three stripes. The Campus Vulcs also feature a well padded tongue and ankle collar for increased protection and comfort.
