Vans x Taka Hayashi - No Skool 2 Mid Vulc

In the latest Vans collaboration with Taka Hayashi, the self taught painter, illustrator and graphic designer has applied his touch on three Vans models. On this No Skool 2 Mid Vulc, an amazing amount of fine details has been applied including leather stitching on the sides to replace the Vans stripes, fur in the heels, a side zipper, and a feather embroidered into the heel. Here’s a little history on Taka. At the age of 10 Taka Hayashi moved from Yokohama right into the heart of 80’s skateboarding scene in Santa Monica. This move took a huge impact on his life as he began to skate and draw. Available now at Caliroots.
