For Spring/Summer 2009, Nike will be releasing the next evolution of the Nike Air Max 360 sneaker, now with another major technology addition, Nike Flywire on the upper. Officially named the Nike Air Max+ 2009, the upper of the sneaker features a combination of Nike Flywire and breathable materials. On the foundation, the Air Max 360 sole is used for superior cushioning and shock absorption. Also take notice the slightly redesigned Air Max 360 sole that’s now cageless. Previously, the Air Max 360 “bubble” was caged to keep it from bursting but it seems Nike has perfected the technology to create a clean Max Air Unit. Via Niketalk

I hope this model’s sole will wear longer. Previous versions wore quickly to and through the air bubble.

Just got ‘em….so far so good!…I’m 195 lb mainly using ‘em for every day wear (due to miniscal tear in my knee) …super comfy. One thing though: I have size US 13/EUR 47.5 and the left foot is a bit tight…this is just the second day …so I’ll see if it changes a bit according to my feet shape or not…
I do hope the air sole will last longer. I had 2 air max 360’s bubbles burst!
