A little less than a year ago, Nike and Foot Locker opened the first House of Hoops in Harlem New York. Today, Nike and Footlocker is preparing to open their second location in the United States in Los Angeles at the Beverly Center Mall. The House of Hoops is a hub for all things basketball and a home for consumers who live and breathe the game of basketball. This basketball haven also gives hoops fanatics access to player exclusive footwear – the personalized performance sneakers of Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Lamar Odom, Derek Fisher and Pau Gasol and other limited edition Nike Basketball, Air Jordan and Converse sneakers. For today’s opening there will be a number of celebrities on hand to help open its doors including NBA athletes Scottie Pippen, Ron Harper and Tina Thompson; Hurricane Season’s Jackie Long, Taraji Henson and Khleo Thomas; and a special performance by Ice Cube. The event will be hosted by former NBA player and talk show host John Salley and former NFL player and actor Terry Crews.

YERH YERH YERH! need more nike zoom kobe III MVP shoes! i live in melbourne australia and it sucks that they closed the major nike store. how lucky for LA’s to get one of these stores. sigh*
