Vans has done some interesting work lately, taking their old standby designs and rejuvenating those dusty models with premium materials and other innovations.  This pic was featured in Vapors magazine’s 50th issue.  In it, we see the black Half Cabs we showed you last month.  As it turns out, they’re part of a pack that includes this Sk-8 Midtop that’s been gussied up with embellishments on the brown leather upper and an interesting suede lace that has beads on the end.  It achieves a sort of indian/moccasin look without the upturned toe stitch; quite interesting.  We’re not sure when these will drop, but it looks like the Half Cabs will hit stores on November 11 to mark the beginning of Active’s annual “Drop Sneakers Not Bombs” campaign.  Check the official DSNB site for more updates.
