Go ahead and say “Thanks,” while you look at that picture. I’m assuming you’re here because you like sneakers, and Converse deserves credit for taking athletic shoes mainstream. As part of their year-long 100th anniversary celebration, Converse Japan is releasing updated versions of several classic models. Of course you’ll see the Chuck Taylor, this time with stripes on the heel, and the hightop black model has white piping. We see two pairs of Jack Purcell mids, both with fur ankle linings. Rounding out the collections are two pairs of Weapon Hi SK (skate edition) and lush suede Pro Leather 76 Hi models in red and black. You’ll find these at Converse Japan retailers and on their website when they start to release in November. Detailed pics of each model after the jump. Via HB.
