We’ve all been anticipating Jordan Brand’s creations for 2009 and now we finally get a detailed sneak peek of one of the better known upcoming Jordan Brand releases called the True Flight. The Air Jordan True Flight is, in case it isn’t obvious, heavily inspired by the Air Jordan VII. What shouts Air Jordan VII the loudest is the sole with the two arches of white, cool gray and red that are very similar to what we’ve seen in the VII. The other notable quality of this shoe that reminds us of the VII is the entire upper construction featuring black suede angling around black nubuck with red stitching. The back even features atab similar to that of the Air Jordan VII. These aren’, however a retro, as they are a little higher cut in a shape that looks almost more like a Nike Air Flight High than the orginal shape or the AIr Jordan VII. Another item to note is the hole in the upper around the ankle, which almost looks like it was inspired from a Hurache. Clearly there are a lot of dope things going on in the Air Jordan True Flight. Look for these to hit Jordan retailers, including footaction, on January 17, 2009 for the price of $140.00.

the VII’s retail for $135…whats so special about these??? its crazy, we pay more now for less quality. ill stick with retros.

Dude above me you don’t know what your talking about. True Flight have better quality than the Retro 7’s and they have a Flatter sole with improved cushioning which makes the shoe very comfortable so $140 is a good price for a higher quality shoe and its going to a long time before you see an AJ Retro 7 in stores for a retail price of $135.

most stores do sell VIIs for retail $135…
i really doubt people care about the lesser quality of the VII. people will only remember that a VIIs inspiration is more expensive than the VIIs itself. so according to you the price reflects on only quality. so uhhh can u explain why the jordan enhancer retail is 90 bucks, but retro I mids are 100-110? cmon its obvious jordan prices their shoes mostly off of demand.
so imo 140 is a bit too much

These are better than the VIIs, especially in this color way. About the VII’s quality (17 years ago) what do u think?
If u pick this shoes for sandals at home, what do u wear outside of your home?, the XX3 PREMIER? or TITANIUM?
