Two years, two hundred and seventy days. That’s the amount of days required if The Mayor were to wear each and every one of his 1000 pairs of Air Force 1s. There are many types of collectors, many of whom like to keep their sneakers in their original boxes. The Mayor, except for freshly purchased sneakers, does not keep a single box to store his collection. Instead he’s replaced each with a clear shoe box from the Container Store, keeping everything visible and neatly stored. Recently we stopped by and decided to see for ourselves this amazing collection and photograph it for an interview on Freshness and a collection feature on Sneaker News. Make sure to check out the interview with the Mayor on Freshness.

Below are photos of a few rare sneakers and as well as a small part of the Mayors Nike iD collection.
