It has been noted a few times over the past year that the Air Jordan XX3 will probably be the last numbered Air Jordan to release. What will happen after that? Is JB just messing with us or will there be an Air Jordan 24. We do see in listed release dates that there will be an upcoming Air Jordan in February 2009, which has historically been the release month for all new legacy numbered Air Jordan sneakers. While the above image maybe more of a sample, it is the first image of the Air Jordan 2009 so we will wait and see if it is the final production or just a sample.

Damn so it seems like everbody is not liking these sneakers…well first I would like to say that im not even sure if these are Jordans or not…and If they are new Jordans then I really doubt they would name it 24’s, if anything it will be called Jordan 2009, but nobody knows for sure yet. I try to see the beauty in these, and honestly I will be the first to say that they are not that bad looking, and with the crazy bottom of the shoe im really interested to see how they feel to walk in and ball in. Despite being one of the few sneaker brands that made money hand over foot in 2008, it makes sense for Jordan Brand to stop making new Js after 23??? What are you even talking about? Shut down the brand and/or its signature model? You cant be serious.
I think going to new numbering system (like the year?) is pretty solid idea, unlike the notion of never putting #23 on a Jordan again. (LOL)
But JB does need to refine this design a (lot) bit.
