The Mayor & DJ Clark Kent both wearing the Black Friday Air Force 1
DJ Clark Kent really know sneakers, how to keep them under wraps, how to release them and of course how to make them hot. A few months back DJ Clark Kent release a pack of Nike “1″ classics called the “112″ pack in a very special way – he gave his entire stock of seed pairs away. For his next project, the Black Friday Air Force 1, he kept the project under wraps and released it to a crowd of admiring fans and sneaker enthusiasts on Black Friday at the hour other retailers also open up shop to special deals. 4am that is. DJ Clark Kent was there of course to sign boxes and he also served breakfast.

Clark cracks open a fresh pair to wear.

The first person in line (who’s wearing a Patta jacket in the background) was gifted with a pair by DJ Clark Kent.

Breakfast was served.

Shameless self promotion. (DJ Clark Kent requested us to post this picture.) Thanks again Clark!

croc —- You can’t be serious, kid. You blame Clark for you not being able to get a pair of shoes in your size despite your wristband number. On top of that Clark didn’t hand out the wristbands! How do you go to a concert and blame the performer for sitting in your seat? You question his professionalism because you weren’t able to get your size? How ignorant is that? I understand you being upset about not being able to get your size but do you really think that someone was personally attacking you by not having a 10.5 for you by the time you got to the register? There were plenty of 10.5 sold maybe you should be mad at yourself for not getting there early enough to get the 1st wristband issued….

que cosa & 416TheTruth — Let me put you both on to some news you think you know:
1. ?uestLove did NOT pay for the first 5 people at all of the releases. He may have done it in his hometown of Philly but that was it!
2. I was at the NYC release and know for a fact he didn’t pay for anything! How do I know? Because I was standing inside the building at the register while everyone was waiting to be let inside according to where their name fell on the list.
3. Cali doesn’t really do Air Force! So in order to save face they purchased the shoes for the first 5 people. The turnout was so fucking poor that the kids who were on line were able to not only double or triple but quadruple up if they so chose!!!
Please do your homework before you respond… Thank you!

first of all….the first wristbands issued were picked up by friends of sportswear…second….according to where their name fell on the list?!?!..lmao…what a joke.. i was there for that release. i seen alot of people just walk up and giving the dude at the door a pound, walk in and walk out with pair….they didnt have wristbands, cuz i asked them. theres a list and then you have MAYOR step out and call his boys in first…..then, i figured being the type of release that i was, that it was limited 1 per…hmm…funny i saw alot of those same guys who know the guys at sportswear or kent himself walk out with 2,3, even 4 early in the release…sportswear is very unorganized……and..they did the same for the krink release…theres was a list made, and what happened, stupid carrot top looking mofo ripped it up and started calling names and picking people from the crowd, not from the line……who? his friends of course, and them being so so soft were being told who to let in because they “rolled together”…..f sportwear, unorganized and classless…….i advise people not to go there for any release….unless you become really really really close friends with them, if not, u aint getting sh*t
