It has been noted a few times over the past year that the Air Jordan XX3 will probably be the last numbered Air Jordan to release. What will happen after that? Is JB just messing with us or will there be an Air Jordan 24. We do see in listed release dates that there will be an upcoming Air Jordan in February 2009, which has historically been the release month for all new legacy numbered Air Jordan sneakers. While the above image maybe more of a sample, it is the first image of the Air Jordan 2009 so we will wait and see if it is the final production or just a sample.

IT look a little like to 14 i can see the fencing inspiration in the upper and what look to be patent leather not sure have to see more detail look for i make my final call

by starting to make a jordan 24 i think that they are putting one foot in the grave for jordan, because it makes to much sense to stop at 23, because that was his jersey number plus they have been saying for a long time thats where he is going to stop at, im really big jordan fan pluse i have a insane collection of them if they make a 24, they basicly should stop putting 23′s on the shoes, and trust me they will lose a lot of fans sb’s and air max, plus foamposites are starting the new take over slowly but fasholy

They look like a remixed version of the new melo M5. The design looks ok and simple; I would have to see how they look in a black/red colorway then i would decide.

Damn so it seems like everbody is not liking these sneakers…well first I would like to say that im not even sure if these are Jordans or not…and If they are new Jordans then I really doubt they would name it 24′s, if anything it will be called Jordan 2009, but nobody knows for sure yet. I try to see the beauty in these, and honestly I will be the first to say that they are not that bad looking, and with the crazy bottom of the shoe im really interested to see how they feel to walk in and ball in. These pics have left me really curious….

Despite being one of the few sneaker brands that made money hand over foot in 2008, it makes sense for Jordan Brand to stop making new Js after 23??? What are you even talking about? Shut down the brand and/or its signature model? You cant be serious.
I think going to new numbering system (like the year?) is pretty solid idea, unlike the notion of never putting #23 on a Jordan again. (LOL)
But JB does need to refine this design a (lot) bit.

Sample picture comes out everyone hates them. Wait 2 months when final production models come out, and half the people on this page will cop them.
Yes these samples are ugly, but pretty much all samples are ugly. Until the official release pics come out, the verdict is still out.

These are not 24′s they are Air Jordan 2009 and i think its a good concept shoe ya kno its looks alot better than the 20 -23 did this far ahead of the release date.

Well… I think it’s just a prototype.
But they look different than the 23s (which look like AND1 and they suck) and that’s a good idea to start with. There’s enough time ’til february so let’s just wait. I mean jb should have learned from their mistakes (read: 23s)
