A while ago, we showed you the GourmetKickz series which Chef of GourmetKickz used to put his own spin on custom Air Force 1s. For those of you who may not know, Chef is the culinary and creative mastermind behind GourmetKickz, who has a pension for cooking up dope, customized sneakers, most notably using the Nike Air Force 1 as his canvas. Chef has continued to keep his custom sneaker game hotter than a heater as he enjoys pushing the envelope, experimenting with different materials and reaching a broad audience of sneaker fiends.
Stepping up his game yet again, Chef has created the GourmetKickz Creator, which is sponsored by 1800® Tequila – and the custom sneaker utility equivalent to Nike iD. Except with the GourmetKickz Creator, you can personalize EVERYTHING on the classic Air Force 1, including every color, the stitching and every section of the shoe from the toe-box to the heel. The GourmetKickz Creator even allows you to add 3M material, metallic colors and gilded gold in order to allow you to make your Air Force 1 extra luxurious. In fact, with all the different luxe options and combinations, the GourmetKickz Creator is more on par with the Nike Air Foce 1 iD-Bespoke program at Nike Sportswear. Each pair of GourmetKickz made with the GourmetKickz Creator comes with a set of custom insoles and even a custom box wrapped covered in artwork selected from the Creator. As the proud sponsor of the GourmetKickz Creator, 1800® Tequila has found a kindred spirit in Chef. Check out www.1800tequila.com now to design a tequila bottle with your own custom artwork.
For the launch, Chef has cooked Sneaker News up a special pair, that we thought up using his new GourmetKickz Creator. You can see pictures of these kickz, along with screenshots of the Kickz Creator below. For a walk-through on the GourmetKickz Creator, check out Chef’s tutorial here. Once you’re ready, be sure to go to the GourmetKickz Creator and create your own, customized, extra luxurious and extra dope Air Force 1s.
