With all the news swirling around the Air Jordan 2009, there have been a lot of images leaked as we get closer to 2009. The first pair we showed you was the black and gold version followed up by the white and black colorway of the shoe. The last pictures we showed you of the black/gold colorway didn’t quite reveal all the details of the shoe. Now we get extra detailed photos that truly show us what this follow-up to the Air Jordan XX3 may actually look like.
The new pictures reveal a mostly black colorway with tasteful, gold accents on the mid-sole and the bottom of the sole. There seems to be some very minor gold coloring as part of the patent leather on the upper, but it is still pretty hard to tell. The layered mid-panel looks like it is constructed in sections, possibly creating a nice ventilation system that could come in handy for both indoor and outdoor basketball. Another noticeable aspect of this shoe is the scarce use of the Jordan logo or Jumpman throughout the shoe, only appearing on the lower and upper part of the tongue. We also get a better look at the green crystal located by the outer-ankle, which is a nice, luxurious feature. Big ups to Fatboykickz for the updated pictures.

Looks ok. I dont get the heel part, kinda throws me off but I do want to try on. The mid panel is pretty nice, the overall bottom of the shoe looks like the Zoom Kobe 4. I just don’t get the dimond…

Air Jordan stop at 23, I never count on what Mike did for the Wizards, so I disagree with this 2009 thing. There always an end in every great things. Do it like Ferrari with F40, F50 then Enzo. JB can ruin this but please don’t call it Air Jordan.
JB could release Air Jordan for the 25th & 30th Anniversary editions. But again it should be special and better look than 23, otherwise people just looking for Retros.
