For some its been a seven year wait and others a five year wait, no matter now, tonight once midnight hits the most anticipated sneaker release of the year (or perhaps of the last 5 or 7 years) will be released. This will also conclude the celebration of ’23′ where Brand Jordan has created a number of packs of two classic numbered Air Jordans where both add up to 23. The Air Jordan XI in ‘bred’ colors and the Air Jordan XII is in the ‘taxi’ colorway. They land in stores when stores open Saturday December 20th but some may have midnight releases so double check with your local store. On the East Coast, with a huge snow storm above us, the best way to cop these will be tonight at the usual Air Jordan online retailers. We will have direct links to the pack so make sure to check in with us a little before midnight for the Finishline direct link and between 4am and 7am for the Nikestore direct link.

Update: Both Eastbay and Finishline crashed a lot during the release and they sold out fast but due to the nonstop crashing, it took several hours to sell out. When Nikestore dropped them around 5am est, they sold out with in 10 minutes. Because many brought multiple pairs through multiple orders many will be cancled so don’t be surprised these will restock on Monday. Keep your eyes out for an update on Sneaker News.

Meh..I got mine as my manager at footlocker let me buy them as the store closed ( i work there ) . I’m really happy but sorta disappointed but not really…mine have glue and some other crap all over them..I can take it off..but theres poor workmanship in my #12′s… I am in Canada…its all sold out here due to the fact you can preorder..but our store had only 30 (small remote store) , I shifted through the four size 12′s we got…I picked the best ones..
Well anyways, I’m just pissed cause…all my countdownpacks have something wrong with em..like whaat the hell…

Yeah I got mine!!! I got it Sunday. I called Eastbay Sunday afternoon and they had one pair in size 10.5 left. So for those peolple who don’t have em yet. Just keep calling eastbay everyday, atleast twice a day. hope yall get em

I got my joints and they are awesome. Quality was great but I want to say this. I think it is ridculous that jordan brand limits the quanity of these shoes cause people were fighting and going to jail saturday morning over some shoes! Ps I wouldve fought too if I didn’t get mine haha!!!

randy i remember airfrank, whats up with him??….how ever i keep refreshing on ndc and finishline all the weekend but only got to see pairs size 7 and 8.5 on ndc. i think im not gonna get mines…so disapointed, but gonna give a chance to get it on europe, got some friends there….

How can you tell a fake in the countdown pack XI/ XII

You can tell they are fake by looking at the bottoms. The Carbon fiber plate should have a distinct look on the middle of the XI’s. It shouldn’t look very smooth and shiny. It should look a little rugged. Ask for CLEAR pix if you’re going to buy. The XII’s, the same on the yellow and black part. Plus if you look closely at the shoes, they shouldn’t look like they’ve been kept in a closet under a dozen bowling balls.

these are not fake! let me teach u all something u dont now! every time a retro comes back it will have a difference in 1 or 2 things on the jordans. this is a strategy nike is using to trow off the bootleggers! the same thing goes for air force 1 and also for you to stop shopping all over the place for nikes an air jordans, and start shopping in stores that have a contract with nike or what ever u may call it!!! so if u dont believe go strait to nike and buy or order a pair, which ever one u like to do and compare it to the pic! and stop talking s@#t
