During the month of January, we showed you a Nike Blazer Hi Vintage model in lush pine green suede and in another post, two Vintage Terminator Lows. Thanks to our family over at Freshness, we now know that these are, along with a couple new pairs of Blazer His, the constituents of Nike’s Vintage Glory pack.
Appearing in red/white and blue/white, the new Blazers are done in the same spirit as the green joints: high quality distressed suede in contemporary yet faded colours. With the soft lighting in the new Terminator Low pics, we see that these are somewhat similar to the Aged Leather pack of Court Forces from last year. Already released in Asia and Europe, this pack will hit retailers stateside next month.

Just when you thought they couldn’t get any higher, Supra the undisputed sky top champ brings out a new model to top them all. Behold the Supra ‘Society’, designed and tested by none other than Terry Kennedy of Ice Cream, Fly Society, and Baker Skateboards fame. At a time when nothing seems as loud and outlandish as their team riders, Supra reminds you that their footwear is. While many other footwear companies concentrate on the retro hybrid re-hash of classic models, Supra has become a household name by putting out original and somewhat controversial concepts. Continuing on the trend to go boldly where no skate shoe company has gone before, Supra takes their infamous Sky Top one notch higher with not one, but two velcro straps. While the top of the upper offers this additional support as well as an extra bold fashion statement, the rest of the model stays true to it’s skateboarding roots. A hidden lacing system offers to keep your shoe laces safe from grip tape wear and tear, while the sole of the sneaker boasts increased board feel with Supra’s usual flexible and skate friendly vulcanized soles. The Supra ‘Society’ will be available in smooth Grey Patent, Purple Suede, or Black Leather with a Red midsole early this Spring.

2009 marks the twentieth anniversary of one of the very first professional skateboarding signature shoes of all time. For two decades now the Vans ‘Caballero’ silhouette by veteran skate board legend Steve Caballero, has remained a staple in skateboarding through generations of skaters, as well as numerous eras in skateboarding history. Very rarely do any shoes accomplish such a feat, no matter the sport or genre. To commemorate this historic event, Vans will re-release the original Vans ‘Caballero’ sneaker in it’s original high cut silhouette. The release stays true to the original using mostly suede on the upper, with the classic ‘Caballero’ reptile pattern on the shoes side panels. The out sole of the shoe still features the same vulcanized gum rubber that has made Vans a skater favorite over the years. The Roman Numerals ‘XX’ are embroidered on the heel along with the years ’1989-2009′ to mark this monumental occasion. Photos via Rakuten

If you’re still not sold after seeing the pics, be advised that the laces on the Solebox R698 will light up when you walk in them. So if you’ve ever wanted to light up the sidewalk like Michael Jackson in the “Billie Jean” video or you just like fresh kicks, check out the Solebox store in Berlin on April 18th. Since 2001, Nike has sporadically released a handful of colorways of the Air Trainer III’s, keeping them relevant without burning them out. As a result, whenever a new version drops our sneaker senses start to tingle. The Trainer III’s are back in a dazzling black/max orange/purple color scheme with charcoal patent leather on the tongue, heel and strap. As we speak, folks in Japan are gobbling up these beauties with a European and hopefully U.S. release on the way. If you’re not willing to roll the dice, you might want to pick them up now at LTD.

Nike will once again commemorate Black History Month with a special edition Air Force 1. The shoe will not be released to the public, but instead given out to a select few individuals who are currently making Black History in their own way. The shoe comes in a black bag with an inspiring quote printed beneath the 100 Year logo in silver. This year’s Air Force 1 features a striking black/red/green colorway and has some very nice touches, such as laser printing, colored stitching, a clear sole and a tongue reminiscent of some Air Max hybrid models. Congrats to whoever has earned themselves a pair of these. via slamxhype.

With the success of the Rod Lavers and Stan Smiths over the years, it made good sense for Adidas to bring back the Aditennis Hi Deluxe. With its premium materials and bold color scheme, the Aditennis may give the Nike Blazer a run for its money when it comes to simplistic lifestyle high tops. This pair comes in rich black leather with purple suede accents and is available now at the David Z. flagship store and website.

After the Laker’s win over the Cavs tonight, you may be wondering why the recently released Nike Zoom Kobe IV isn’t getting as many editions released as the Nike Zoom LeBron VI. Well don’t worry, because it looks like the designers are not nearly slowing doen with Kobe Bryant’s fourth signature shoe.
The latest Nike Zoom Kobe IV is being dubbed the “Mamba Edition”. On the shoe you will find a mostly white design with additions of purple and gold to give the shoe a little flavor. The toe-box fitures a glossy, shiny purple fading to white followed by a gold Swoosh and a gold Kobe signature on the heel. Around the ankle you will see some metallic gold, snakeskin imprints that give the shoe that “Mamba” accent. No word on release for these quite yet, but maybe we can hope for a House of Hoops release (at least) in the coming weeks as Kobe continues to push his team toward the NBA Finals. via kb24

There have been a few notable Nike Skateboarding releases in recent times, but within all the drops we haven’t seen too much of the Dunk Low. To keep things diverse and interesting, Nike Skateboarding has put out this nice Nike SB Dunk Low in a navy/black-orange colorway featuring a nice mix of colors and materials. The sole comes in a classic grey and black while the upper sports most of the colors including royal blue, navy, black and white. On the front and back sections you will notice the use of buttery, navy suede while the Swoosh sports a royal blue nubuck material and the the mid-panel having the touch of smooth, black leather. Look for these to hit Nike SB retailers in the coming months, definitely a nice releases for those of you who have been looking for another SB Dunk Low with dope design qualities. via Jordan8420

Alife keeps the hits coming with their latest collaboration with Barneys. The footwear innovators have put a new spin on their Court Cup model. An obvious homage to the Stan Smith, the Court Cup captures that classic tennis shoe look, but has a healthy dose of contemporary Alife swagger. This time around, the Court Cup will be released in silver, gold and red colorways with white scratch patterns, as well as in silver with black scratches. Of course the stripes of the Stan Smith have been replaced with a perforated “ALIFE” stamp across the uppers. Check for these at Barneys nationwide in the coming weeks. via SoleBlvd.
