The classic running shoes continue to drop over seas in Europe, the latest being the Nike Air Classic BW Black/White-Blue Sapphire, a retro Nike running shoe from 1991. The upper is made of mostly black and white leather and nubuck, while black breathable mesh toe boxes and side panels promise to resist creasing. Sapphire Blue accents on the sole and collar give the shoe just the right amount of color. A classic visible Nike Air bag in the heel offers the expected cushion and comfort of Air Max. The Nike Air Classic BW Black/White-Blue Sapphire are available now at JD Sports and other European Nike retailers.

Reebok is commemorating Dee Brown’s Slam Dunk Contest win in 1991 during this year’s NBA All Star Weekend. Reebok is releasing a special edition of the Pump Omni Lite, the model Dee Brown wore during his win. Some unique features of this edition include, Dee Brown’s Celtic’s jersey on the inner tongue, a picture of the Old Boston Garden around the collar, and on the sockliner is a picture of the parquee basketball court, with the # and team of each of the final 4 players Dee beat in the Slam Dunk Contest. Their #’s start at the baseline and at the top of the foul line is Dee’s #7. The half circle above the foul line then turns into a crown. Above that it says “Slam Dunk Champion”. The special limited edition will launch February 14 during the NBA All Star Weekend with an in-store appearance by Dee Brown at Shiekh’s Arizona Mills Location. Only 360 pairs will be available exclusively at Shiekh Shoes.

A short while back, the above Air Max 1 was posted without a release date but they’ve finally started to hit retailers including nikestore. The shoe features a black out-sole, white mid-sole and red being visible in the Nike Air bubble. Along the upper, you can see there are some very nice uses of black and red in the form of red felt as well as a black nylon mesh toe-box. An added patent leather swoosh tops everything off, making this a definite good look for all you Air Max fans. Look for this colorway at Nike retailers now including nikestore.com.

The same collage pattern appears on the under side of the shoes tongue in its familiar red color. The Alife cursive logo is carefully embroidered on the heel in black to match the shiny black mid sole with white paint speckles. In the two decades since their initial release, the New Balance RC 410 lightweight runner has been out-teched by newer, even lighter running shoes like the Nike Lunar Racer. Out-classed is another story entirely. These joints have held up well over the years and this new black and blue colourway makes these a suitable addition to your arsenal, right next to adidas ZX 90s or any of your favorite classic lightweight running shoes. JD Sports has another home run on their hands after many successful exclusive Air Max colorways from their design team. The latest is the above Air Max Light in black and canyon gold. The upper is made up of most black felt, black mesh, black leather in the swoosh. The accenting color, canyon gold just in the tip of the outsole and the upper heel, jumps out from the stark black. The sneakers are finished off with a solid black sole making for a solid overall colorway. You can pick it up now exclusively at JD Sports in the UK.

Since we wrote about the Undefeated x Puma Mid 24K Collection a few days back, Undefeated is making the announcement on the mirror gold pair that was not in our preview. While all the collaborative details are in the shoes, the major difference is the patent leather like ‘mirror gold’ gold material used on the upper. The other pairs feature a perforated suede upper and snakeskin formstipes, this pair feature a perforated gold formstripe. No word on which locations this limited colorway will be available.
The collection will be hitting shelves in all the Undefeated locations on Saturday, February 7th as well as the following retailers: Classic Kicks (NYC), ALIFE (NYC), Atmos (NYC), Major (DC), Premium Goods (Houston), Leaders (Chicago) and Bodega (Boston).

A short while back we had a preview of the upcoming Alife x Reebok collaboration on the Classic Leather Lux, they’ve finally gone on sale at select retailers including Size? in the UK. This collaboration comes in three colorways with the black/black shown above. The upper of the sneakers feature a black premium leather with the Alife logo embrossed throughout the sneakers. The best part of the sneakers is the black and white speckled midsole and the included three sets of speckled laces. While these have been released in the UK, no word yet on the US release but stay tuned to Sneaker News for the latest.

This Air Force 1 Supreme “Huarache” has been talked about for a couple months now since pictures first surfaced of it months ago from a Mom & Pop shop in New York. Since then we have seen a few higher quality pictures of the Air Force 1 that is inspired from the original Nike Huarache collection designed by Tinker Hatfield. And now it’s time to give you a detailed look at these Supreme AF1′s, scheduled to drop in a few months. This AF1 features an all White upper that uses a rich premium leather with the Nike Air logo lasered in the heel but the best part about these shoes is the Ice midsole and outsole that really gives the shoes a personality of it’s own. In order to show that the shoe’s inspiration came from the Nike Huarache lineage of sneakers the Air Force 1′s tongue was changed up a little bit to resemble some of the original Nike Huarache sneaker shoe tongues. Look for these to drop at select Nike Sportswear doors in the upcoming months.
