Check out this viral ad video from Nike featuring Gossip Girl Taylor Momsen escaping the paparrazzis after her workout, but in a superhuman way! She was spotted wearing head to toe Nike- a sports bra top and a blue pair of Nike Zoom Sister One+ doing some crazy moves. In the beginning it really did look like just any paparrazzi chase but when she managed to get to the stairs watch her dodge the paparazzis with her “super powers”! Gotta give it to Nike!

Nike Sportswear’s Spring 2009 Collection of Dunks that are inspired by Nike ACG and the Safari Print continue to hit retailers as the latest Dunk out of the ACG/Safari Print inspired pack is this Dunk High Supreme Spark. This Dunk comes in a Surpeme treatment which means that superior materials are used as well as Nike Zoom Air for extra cushioning. This particular colorway of the Dunk High Supreme Spark features the colors Black, Rave Pink, and Citron as well as the Safarin Print on a number of different parts of the upper, but perhaps the best feature of this shoe is the Ice outsole that sneakerheads always migrate to. You can pick these up now at select Nike Sportswear retailers as well as LTD Online.

The Nike Huarache 09 was debuted as a part of Nike’s Considered Design Project for 2009 back at the end of October and now that we’re almost halfway through the 2008-09 NBA Season some of the NBA players are finally switching into the Huarache 09. Now Nike has released the Nike Huarache 09 in a Supreme treatment for three different players including O.J. Mayo, Chris Bosh, and Tony Parker. Considering the different positions that these three players play it’s safe to say that the Huarache 09 is a shoe that caters to players of all positions whether you’re a Shooting Guard like Mayo, Power Forward like Bosh, or pure Point Guard like Parker. The Nike Zoom MVP X is the latest Nike Basketball shoe created for some of the NBA’s best Guards including the Phoenix Suns’ All-Star, Steve Nash, who has been seen rocking the shoes as of late. Now Nike Basketball has just released this new MVP X Supreme Phoenix Suns inspired colorway of the shoe as a Quickstrike. The shoe features an Ice outsole as well as an uper that is made up of 3M. Additionally the insole has the words “I’ve Got Monstrous Game” written on it. You can pick these up now at select Nike Basketball retailers as well as the Kix-Files Online Store.

Just a little over a month ago, we discovered an unreleased Dunk High SB in Mint Chocolate Chip colors, the only problem, the price was a fixed $2500. The same seller has decided to let the pair go on auction so there’s a chance they’ll be lower than the $2500 or maybe even higher. The upper features what looks to be premium leathers and suedes. The toebox and side panels, in black and mint green respectively, are in tumbled leather. The toe area and lower part of the heel is in a black suede, the eyelets are in a mint green suede and upper heel is in a black tumbled leather.

Snowboarding apparel and footwear new comer Nike Snowboarding who just delivered an interesting collection this season is taking another step to be a bit more outrageous. The team at Nike Snowboarding hooked up with Arbito to design a boot for pro rider Danny Kass. The package will include several apparel pieces as well also designed by Arbito.

The Nike SB team has been putting some energy into the Dunk Mid recently with Dunk SB Mid Beijing, Dunk Mid SB Workwear, and a Dunk Mid SB TV, all of which features special materials and themes. A new Dunk Mid SB was just spotted again with a special theme and material combination, the above features a green digital camo and a gold fish illustration in the insole. Some of you might be reminded of the Nike x Nitro Microphone 1World Air Force 1 which features a similar digicamo. The rest of the Dunk Mid SB features black premium leather and black suede on the upper with red and white accents. No word on an exact release date but should be in the upcoming months. Back in November 2008, the Nike SB x Triumvir x Fly – Dunk Mid Beijing was officially introduced to the public. Triumvir, an Orange County based lifestyle company, flystreetwear, a Beijing and Shanghai based skate shop, and Nike SB got together to design a Dunk Mid inspired by Beijing. Many around the world have taken notice to the Chinese culture since the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing. This shoe pays tribute to some aspects of this very intriguing and unique country. For those knowledgeable of this area, one can immediately see the Beijing high-rise/ highway gray-toned heel, red and gold accents to represent fortune, prosperity and Chinese flag, and even the white dust mask worn by many inhabitants on the toe and laces of the shoe. The slogan “skate towards Tienanmen square” is embedded in the sockliner, while the sole fuses Fly’s Chinese coin logo and Triumvir’s “3″ logo. Definitely a special shoe for a special culture. While there is no word on a US release, this Dunk Mid SB is now available in Asia retailers including RMK Store.

We’ve seen adidas put a ton of energy into their Originals collection, and the results thusfar have been positive. Here we see one of the hallmarks of the Originals line, superlative reimagination of overlooked classics, but this time as a part of the Metro Independent line. The adidas Kegler Super is available at a scant few retailers, but our buddies over at David Z. happen to be one of the lucky few with stock available online and at their flagship store on Broadway.

Earlier in the month, we posted the Puma Clyde – Jet Set as part of Puma’s Chinese New Year celebration, Kenlu is reporting on pack of Puma Baskets also part of the New Years Pack. Called the “Brights” pack this pair of Puma Baskets feature bright reflective lenticular material in their heel logo and on the Puma Foam Stripe. The white pair feature a neon green reflective lenticular material as well as neon green in the lining while the black pair feature orange in the same specs. These should be Asia exclusives so look for them soon in your local Puma retailers in Asia. Via Kenlu.
