The Vans Syndicate line has just released their latest pack designed by Gabe Morford. Gabe Morford is well known for his skateboarding photography in Thrasher Magazine, and his contributions to Fixed Gear and Cycling Culture with the hit film MASH. Gabe’s Van Syndicate pack features three classic Vans sneakers; The Half Cab, The Era, and The Slip On. Each are made with a variety of unique durable materials such as Kevlar and Benecke Ceraprene. As if that were not enough the inside of the shoe is complete with a Dri-Lex lining arguably making this the most durable Vans sneakers to date. Nike SB is a brand that is notorious for their numerous collaborations that have produced countless memorable designs. However, collaborations with actual Skate Shops and Boutiques have been few and far between. Ending 2008 with tee shirt collabs by street wear champions such as Rogue Status and The Hundreds, Brooklyn Projects is not attempting to slow down in 2009. Apparently Brooklyn Projects is the next lucky Skate Shop to put their spin on the ever popular Nike SB Dunk. A teaser photo has just been leaked highlighting the shoes toe box. It appears from the photo that the shoe will feature an earth tone colorway; using green leather on the front panel, brown nubuck on the eyestay, and a heavily weathered yellow brown leather on the toe box and quarter panels. Of course the shoes are topped off with a dark yellow pair of the new super durable Nike SB Kevlar laces. Still, a lot remains to be seen, since it is unclear if this release is a low, mid, or high top version. However, it will not be long before we see more of these, the Nike SB Dunk by Brooklyn Projects is scheduled to release this March at select Nike SB accounts and Brooklyn Projects retail stores. With Valentine’s Day only a month and a few days away, we are seeing more and more Valentine’s Day inspired shoes hitting the market. The latest is this Air Jordan I Retro in Girl’s Sizes (GS) by Jordan Brand. We’ve already shown you the Nike x Liberty WMNS Dunk High Premium’s that were released at a select retailer in Japan a couple weeks ago and now we have some information on the two different WMNS Blazer Hi Premium’s that are also a part of this collaboration pack of sneakers with Liberty Fabric. The two Blazer Hi Premiums use Liberty’s Phoebe and Nina patterns on the entire upper of the shoes. Nike SB is known for some releasing an eclectic mix of colorful and vibrant sneakers but they also release simple colorways of their easy to skate in shoes such as this Nike SB Blazer Mid, which comes in a basic colorway of Black and White. Designed and wear tested by Emerica Pro-Rider Braydon Szafranski, The Braydon offers an easily broke in shoe with maximum heel cushioning and protection. It boasts a well padded tongue and collar for comfort and cushion, and a triple stitched toe cap for extra wear and tear. The upper consists of either leather or suede, and ventilated mesh. First off, make sure to go check out the new Size? website where they’ve converted much of the site for better navigation, sorting and the lovely new photography. A Dunk High Premium we saw in our Nike Sportswear Dunk ACG Safari Pack Spring 2009 preview  just dropped at the UK based chain. The upper features grey suede on most parts with the exception of the toe area and eyelets which feature a grey leather safari pattern. To finish off, pink laces are added to this other monotoned Dunk High. While these should be in most retailers in the UK including Size?, they should hit worldwide retailers soon. Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past 15 years, you’ve heard of Shawn Stussy. Yes, the Shawn Stussy who created Stussy the clothing company. Shawn’s been chilling the past couple of years after selling Stussy but he’s back and is currently working on a new project called S/Double. Vans Syndicate wasted no time in hunting down Shawn Stussy to work on a collaboration project with S/Double. The sneaker seems to be a new model and features Shawn’s famous hand lettering on the heel. Looks to be a Spring or Summer 2009 release, more to come. Via RIF

Japan’s high end footwear manufacturer, Visvim has just released a few new colorways in their moccasin inspired shoe the FBT. These new versions feature a two toned waxed suede upper that is carefully stitched together. The top of the shoes are graced with a shroud embossed with the companies logo while the out sole of each shoe perfectly matches the suede upper. A pair of rawhide laces tie everything together and compliment the shoes nicely. Available now at Visvim accounts such as Huf.

World renown West Coast Sneaker Boutique, Undefeated has put their spin on Puma’s Mid sneaker for their latest collaboration. The shoes feature perforated leather and suede uppers with black snakeskin gracing the Puma form strip. The shoes feature a golden studded ‘Five Strikes’ Undefeated logo on the outer heel panel reminiscent of the Las Vegas store’s backdrop. Move over Clyde, as UNDEFEATED is also stamped in gold foil underneath the Puma Cat’s regular resting place on the outer quarter panel. As if that was not enough, each pair also comes with a double sided gold dog tag sporting the brands logos. The shoes will release in four colorways; white, black, red, and blue. However, a ’24k Gold’ Model not pictured will be the most limited of the set. Only twenty four pairs will release at the Tokyo and LaBrea Stores, and another 24 will be split between the other three Undefeated locations. The release date of the Undefeated Puma Mid is scheduled for sometime this February.

Men with nice cars have driving shoes, pro cyclists has cycling shoes, now those who own Vespa Scooters can join the shoe club. Adidas has collaborated with famous scooter maker Vespa on a scooter shoe. The model, simply named Vespa is a mid top with rounded details through out and features a suede upper and a rounded gum sole. The Vespa logo is screened in to the heel in silver and in the midsole is an all over print featuring both the Adidas and Vespa logos. These are available now at colette.
