A Bathing Ape is known for their outlandish colourways, and here are four more sure to turn heads this spring. The Bapesta design is done in high and lowtops, each in two colourways. All four feature bold red, yellow, blue and white, the only difference being the distribution of these hues, especially the white and yellow areas. These’ll be available at all Bape stores as soon as you can get there. Via HB

Nike’s Dunk Low CL continues to be released season after season and this season this Black, Neutral Grey, and Sail colorway of the Dunk Low CL is one of the cleaner colorways we’ve seen to date. The upper uses a mixture of tumbled leather for the Black and suede for the Neutral Grey. Additionally the outsole is mildy speckled and the insole of the shoe features a Safari print, keeping with the Spring 2009 Nike Sportswear Dunk Safari theme that we told you about. You can pick these up now at select Nike Sportswear retailers including Size?

No stranger to the Nike PE, Yi Jianlian, rising star of the New Jersey Nets and Chinese National Team, is the most recent NBA player to show off new personalized Nike Foamposite Lites. The shoe makes use of the classic red, white and navy blue Nets color scheme and features Yi’s scorpion logo in red on the tongue. The Foamposite Lites will no doubt be a big hit with ballers everywhere this season, but if you want the pair that Yi wears, you’d better get to ebay and start bidding.

We broke news of Kevin Durant’s first generally released signature sneaker back in November with some images leaving the final product up to your imagination. While you may have seen glimpses of the shoe in recent NBA games, we finally have detailed photos to give you a proper impression of the sneaker.
With a more detailed look, the subtle (and not so subtle) details of this shoe really pop. The impressive technical aspects of the KD1 include Zoom Air cushioning in the mid-sole as well as deep ridges on the out-sole for added flexibility. As far as aesthetic go, this shoe has some features you don’t see very often. First there is the split right down the middle between smooth, white leather and shiny, patent leather that fades from blue to orange to yellow. The Swoosh ties the two halves together being made up of blue patent leather with a “kd” tab right above it coming down from the ankle. Look for these soon at your local Nike Basketball retailer or pick them up now on Ebay.

The Nike Air Max 1 has been a classic sneaker for years now and has had a lot of time, since its inception over two decades ago, to gain favor in the eyes of sneaker aficionados. With the Nike Air Max 1 Maxim, the Air Max 1 transcends “classic” to the label of “icon”, joining the Nike Dunk, Air Max 90, Air Force 1 and Cortez. The above shoe, which is an Air Max 1 in an original colorway (featuring some buttery suede) equipped with Flywire and other tech upgrades…which is why the shoes name has been modified to the Maxim Air Max 1. Definitely a shoe worth keep an eye out for, so stay tuned to Sneaker News for more info and pictures. via Hypebeast

The Adidas Instinct Hi is one of the sneakers Adidas came out with in the early 1980′s that revolutionized basketball footwear technology and style. Adidas is bringing back the Instinct Hi with two new colorways that should release in time for this Spring. The first pair features a blue/white/black/yellow colorway with what looks to be a mixture of suede and smooth leather. On the other pair, which is styled with a red/white/gold colorway, you will find smooth red and white leather accented with metallic gold. In case you think the Nike Zoom Kobe IV is too low for your taste, and you want something a little different than the Hyperdunk, Nike Basketball is hooking you up with a new basketball shoe called the Nike Dream Season; due out later this year. The above picture may remind you of the Hyperdunk x Zoom Kobe IV we caught a glimpse of a while back, but the technology is not that simple. The Nike Dream Season will feature a sole that looks like a Nike Zoom Kobe IV, but instead of using lunar foam for support, the Dream Season’s sole consists of a mixture between Phylon and a Max Air Unit. Also differentiating the Dream Season from Kobe’s most recent sneakers is the fact that it will not be equipped with any Flywire. The Dream Season above looks to be a Laker’s home colorway with Kobe’s signature on the heel and his logo on the tongue. Look for these to drop this Fall and stay tuned for more info. via Kenlu // theprocessofbelief on NT
