Nike SB Dunk Mid Premium Gold Fish Digi Camo

The Nike SB team has been putting some energy into the Dunk Mid recently with Dunk SB Mid Beijing, Dunk Mid SB Workwear, and a Dunk Mid SB TV, all of which features special materials and themes. A new Dunk Mid SB was just spotted again with a special theme and material combination, the above features a green digital camo and a gold fish illustration in the insole. Some of you might be reminded of the Nike x Nitro Microphone 1World Air Force 1 which features a similar digicamo. The rest of the Dunk Mid SB features black premium leather and black suede on the upper with red and white accents. No word on an exact release date but should be in the upcoming months. Nike SB x Triumvir x Fly Dunk Mid Beijing Now Available
Photos: RMK Store on eBay

Back in November 2008, the Nike SB x Triumvir x Fly – Dunk Mid Beijing was officially introduced to the public. Triumvir, an Orange County based lifestyle company, flystreetwear, a Beijing and Shanghai based skate shop, and Nike SB got together to design a Dunk Mid inspired by Beijing. Many around the world have taken notice to the Chinese culture since the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing.  This shoe pays tribute to some aspects of this very intriguing and unique country.  For those knowledgeable of this area, one can immediately see the Beijing high-rise/ highway gray-toned heel, red and gold accents to represent fortune, prosperity and Chinese flag, and even the white dust mask worn by many inhabitants on the toe and laces of the shoe.  The slogan “skate towards Tienanmen square” is embedded in the sockliner, while the sole fuses Fly’s Chinese coin logo and Triumvir’s “3″ logo.  Definitely a special shoe for a special culture. While there is no word on a US release, this Dunk Mid SB is now available in Asia retailers including RMK Store.

Nike Dunk High Premium LE 08 Woven

As a part of the Spring 2009 Nike Sportswear Collection another assortment of Dunk’s that will be hitting the market will feature Nike’s Woven material that is commonly found on the Nike Footscape Woven and Nike Air Woven shoes. This time we are seeing the Woven material being used on the Dunk High in a Premium LE version. While this pair is a bit subtle with the colors we’re sure the materials will attract some sneakerheads. In addition to the Woven material used on the upper this Premium Dunk will also feature Nike Zoom Air. Look for this to drop at select Nike Sportswear retailers in the upcoming weeks. via Soleblvd

Pierre Hardy Leather Hightop Grey & Silver

Here’s a verbal venn diagram for the upscale sneakerheads: the thick black piping on Raf Simmons’ hightops remind us of the Puma Popart Pack inspired by Roy Lichtenstein’s illustrations.  In turn, these new hightops from Pierre Hardy are reminiscent of the Rafs, but somehow not at all of the Pumas.  The end result is something you’ll want to take a gander at for yourself: a steely blueish grey high cut sneaker with a velcro strap about the ankle and metallic silver piping all around.  If you find them sufficiently shiny to justify the nearly $700 (¥59,800), head over to Eliminator’s e-store.  Via HB
