We broke official news of a brand new version of the Nike Dunk High designed for Women, dubbed the Nike WMNS Dunk High Skinny, back in November with a pair that drew inspiration from a tablecloth. Since the new line of women size friendly Dunks was announced, we have a seen a fair amount of previews of the shoe in colorways and designs that have been colorful and very feminine.
In case you were looking for a simpler version of the shoe, as usual Nike Sportswear seems to have thought of everything. This WMNS Dunk High Skinny comes adorned in black, smooth leather and suede along the entire upper while red is used to accent the heel, tongue and the sole. To make these shoes really come alive, an icy sole has been put on these to make it hard to say no when it comes to the question of whether to cop. Look for these at select Nike Sportswear WMNS size retailers or pick them up now at Fuctard in Japan or nikestore in the us.

Paying homage to classic sneakers can have mixed results, but in the case of the Supra Cruizer it looks like they got it right. Obviously inspired by the Air Jordan IV and V, the Cruizer simplifies the design into more of a skate style. The side netting and lacing holes already screamed Jordan, but Supra took the tribute to the next level, conjuring the classic “grape” colorway with this white/purple/teal version. If you loved those grape V’s, you can get the next best thing right now thanks to Supra. via dailydrop.

While Supra has become well known for their ultra-high cut skate shoes, the brand reminds us of their versatility with their new model, The Dixon. The first Antwuan Dixon signature shoe is a far cry from the Terry Kennedy and Chad Muska super high-tops. The Dixon returns to a more traditional low skate style with a simple blue upper and gum sole. This version is set to be released May 1st with additional colorways sure to follow. via Supra.

Following up on the Vans x Parra preview from a few weeks ago, we now have some more detailed images of the colorful collection from the Bright tradeshow. Dutch artist Parra is no stranger to sneaker collaborations and is actually a long time skateboarder. You couldn’t ask for a better match and these pics are proof. Parra has put his original twist on the Era, Sk8-Hi and Chukka as well as a t-shirt to match each sneaker. If you’re a fan of Parra or just love Vans, look for this fun pack later this year.

We’ve been steadily keeping you up to date on the eagerly anticipated Kanye West x Louis Vuitton collaboration. A few styles have popped up in photos in recent weeks and now we get a look at the latest. Ever the considerate gentleman, Kanye made sure the ladies would not be left out and, in his words, “begged” Louis Vuitton to make this women’s model. They appear to be very classic in design from the front view, but a look at the back reveals the same raised heel flap featured on the all the Kanye sneakers previewed so far.
Sky blue and pink colorways are pictured below, with a bone version reportedly in the works. The sky blue’s sport traditional laces with a gold Kanye bear used as a lace lock, while the pink kicks have the same frayed laces used on his boat shoe. No official word yet on if these will be released in men’s sizes too, but we can only hope. via Kanye’s blog.

Kobe Bryant’s latest signature shoe, the Nike Zoom Kobe IV, has made history as the lightest basketball shoe ever create as well as one of the lowest cut basketball shoes out there. The Zoom Kobe IV iD is also notable, aside from all the sick technical and design aspects of the shoe, for the fact that is is one of the first Nike signature shoe for a superstar that has been available on Nike iD. Since Christmas Day in 2008, the Zoom Kobe IV has been available on Nike iD in limited quantities of 24 per day.
Those that have been lucky enough to grab a spot online have come up with a variety of colorways and been kind enough to share their creations with other sneaker heads. The pair above was done up in a Fairfax High School colorway, which is the high school located in Los Angeles that is sponsored by LeBron James. Some have chosen to design the shoes with traditional Lakers colorways, keeping true to Kobe’s home and away colors. Fans of other teams have chosen to give the shoe a colorway that goes with their favorite jerseys (see the Knicks colorway after the jump). Others have ventured away from traditional colorways and have designed the shoe using whatever inspiration struck their imagination.
The Zoom Kobe IV is scheduled to only be available on Nike iD until February 1st, so be sure to try your luck at grabbing a pair before it’s too late. Big ups to all the members of Sole Collector Forums and Nike Talk who have taken the time to share their Zoom Kobe IV iDs.
