AKROE x DC Zander + Sector 7 – Double Label Project – Fall 2009

AKROE x DC Zander + Sector 7 – Double Label Project – Fall 2009

The DC Shoes Double Label Project has shown positive results thus far.  It started slowly, but lately DC is pullin’ a Puffy and simply cannot be slowed.  Up next is a collaboration with French artist AKROE.  Gussying up the DC Zander and Sector 7s with a mashup of teal and white grids, we’ll take the opposite stance of the “non merci” (literally: “no thank you”) embroidery on each pair’s left heel.  The nearly identical side panels on both pairs get a nice contrast with teal and yellow linings, respectively.  Add to that translucent soles revealing a beautiful female face and several pieces of clothing and these joints will be ready to go this fall from retailers like Vagant.
