Made for Skate Book Signing Tour

Made for Skate Book Signing Tour

Made for Skate Book Signing Tour

The Nike SB Blazer is getting quite a bit of attention lately.  Most recently has been the Chicago Blazer designed by Stevie “Dread” Snyder, and we all know how dope those Optical Illusion joints are.  Perhaps the first step in this movement was the ultra-rare Made for Skate edition released in a scant 24 pair collection in commemoration of Nike SB’s book by the same name.  The book sought to immortalize the golden era of skateboarding, particularly the footwear.  Now it’s time for a tour, and the authors are bringing an exhibit of the beat up shoes that got it all started to a city near you.

Not only do you get to see the original 1979 Hobie hightops that inspired the design of the Made for Skate Blazers, but there’s a ton of others ranging from Airwalks to the early SB Dunks.  Take a look at all the pics after the jump and be sure to make it to one of the remaining tour dates if you’re nearby.  Thanks, NikeSB.org
