Nike SB Dunk Low Pro Goofy Boy

We’ve shown you a number of looks at this Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “Goofy Boy” but when we originally showed them to you we didn’t know that they would later be nicknamed the “Goofy Boy” Dunk Low’s, additionally there is a Nike SB Dunk Mid Premium “Goofy Boy”. The “Goofy Boy” is from old 1990 Big Brother ads and the shoe is inspired by the way skaters would dress during that era, with cut off Purple jeans and oversize t-shirts. This particular SB Dunk Low features Purple denim on pieces of the upper as well as the “Goofy Boy” image on the insole. You can pick them up now at select Nike SB accounts worldwide as well as the Kix-Files Online Store.

Nike Big Nike Hi Black Red White Gum

Last month, we previewed the return of the Big Nike Hi, a basketball shoe from 1985 that seems to combine elements of the Dunk Hi and Air Jordan I. This latest version looks more like a Jordan I than ever thanks to a crisp black/red/white colorway. A gum sole and white midsole are a nice addition the retro look and the Terminator-ish block Nike letters on the heel seal the deal. The Big Nike is now in most Nike retailers around the world including  LTD in Japan and in the US, nikestore.com.

Nike Zoom Air Verona Premium WP

When Nike stepped into the Slip-On game with the Nike Zoom Air Verona Premium, they did what they usually do, took the concept to the next level. Adding Zoom Air technology and premium materials, the Verona was already the cream of the Slip-On crop, but Nike went the extra mile by making them waterproof. The white WP upper gives the shoe a super clean look that is offset by some subtle brown accents. The Zoom Air Verona Premium will join the Dunk Low Premium in an upcoming pack of waterproof SB models. If you can’t wait for a U.S. release, you can pick up a pair now at Project 1-6.

Nike Free Hybrid Boot Swan White Varsity Red

The Nike Free Hybrid Boot has the look of a classy casual shoe, but it’s built like a sneaker. The moccasin-style toe, Huarache inspired strap and Considered woven lace heel are nice aesthetic touches, while the Free sole provides maximum comfort and flexibility. In addition to its fine construction, this mostly white version is one of the most conservative colorways yet for this shoe and only adds to its fashion versatility. Minimal black and red accents give the shoe a little flavor, but for the most part, it is predominantly white on white. These are available now at Project 1-6 and other select retailers.

Orchard Street x Reebok Omni Hex Ride + Re Up Lux

Sneakerheads have come to expect collaborations between Reebok and Alife, so we gotta wonder how the folks on Rivington St. feel about RBK hooking up with their neighbors.  This time, it’s the Orchard Street boutique joining forces with Reebok to release a set of shoes and apparel with inspiration taken from the early ’90s basketball culture.  Applying a classic touch to the new Omni Hex Ride and Re-Up Lux models, OS scores big with the red-teal-purple palette.  These are ready for your approval now at Orchard Street’s e-store.  Via SnkrFrkr

Air Jordan I Elephant Print AJF IV True Flight Samples

Updating some recent previews of 2009 Jordan Brand releases, we now bring you new images of four models that will be hitting the shelves later this year. The Jordan I Low has been in heavy rotation lately with the recent Championship packs, and now it will join the elephant print family with both white/mocha and white/curry versions on the way. For anyone who was disappointed with the Black/Cement/Red version of the Air Jordan Force IV, the concept is redeemed by the beloved Fire Red colorway. The final sample image is another fusion of sorts, the Air Jordan VII-inspired Jordan true Flight in a nice North Carolina colorway. All four sneakers should be dropping some time this fall/winter. via HK-Kicks.

Air Jordan Dub Zero Black White Maize

With all the attention being paid to the hate-it-or-love-it Air Jordan Force (AJF) series, it’s been interesting to see a few of the original Air Jordan hybrid trickling in: the Air Jordan Dub Zero.

These feature the higher-contrast laser-etched panels, with the white imprints offering a stark impression on the black side panels.  We figure any bright colour would work well with this simple dichotomy as the base, and the golden touch of maize is far from corny.  These joints are set for a wide release sometime after June of this year, but Sole-Locker has sizes 8.5-11 now.  Via SC

Air Jordan Force IX (AJF 9) Carolina Blue White Black

Whether they’re truly “The Best of Both Worlds” is entirely up to your opinion, but there’s little doubting the polarizing nature of the Air Jordan Force series.  Fusing together the classic Nike Air Force 1 with various models from the Air Jordan series, the AJF series is back at it again with the Air Jordan Force IX.

Released after MJ’s first retirement during the 1993-94 NBA season, the Air Jordan IX is perhaps one of the more forgettable releases in that epic series, but Jordan Brand seeks to remedy that with this University of North Carolina-inspired makeup.  There’s a nice balance between the white upper, black tongue and carolina blue midsole.  We’ll leave it up to you to argue the virtue of the remaining design elements, and you can find a ton of pictures after the jump.  No word on a solid release date as of yet, so check with Sneaker News for more info.  Via FatboyKickz

Reebok Sir Jam Super Hero Pack

“It’s the Juggernaut, [trick]!”  Or at least that’s what Reebok would have us believe.  Having touched on the Marvel character in name only, it’s not surprising that RBK is putting together a new set of superhero-inspired kicks.  The Reebok Sir Jam Super Hero Pack comes in a black shoe with red, yellow and lime green accents, while a white pair opts for grey and black contrasting notes with a little bright orange for a ‘pop’.  It’s your guess against ours right now, as no one’s exactly sure whose powers these colourways evoke, but they’re both quite solid, irrespective of the mystery.  Feel free to call upon the teleportation powers of the internet and cop a pair or two from mita.
