What do you get when you cross Madfoot with Greedy Genius? Take a look at the Spring/Summer 2009 collection from Chinese cobblers MS Sneaker and the comparisons are obvious. Here we see four new colours of their signature hightop. Each pair is done in colourful, yet traditional complexion. However original the designs, there’s no question that the hues used on these kicks are expertly arranged, serving to compliment the contrast between suede and mesh. If you’re looking for something a little different than all your friends’ hightops, check Sneaker News for updates and release info. Via HB

With Nike and Vans offering notably more sophisticated releases, it’s about time we take another look at Clae. They were among the first boutique labels to fully embrace the concept of grown and sexy sneakers, and their Spring 2009 collection is comprised of progeny suitable for that legacy. Standby models like the Kennedy and Romare return in a variety of looks, from muted suede to shiny patent leather. Take a look at the conveniently labeled pics after the jump and then check your local Clae retailer if you get the urge. Via Slamxhype

Nearly all of the content we’ve brought you here on Sneaker News concerning Jun Takahashi’s Undercover label have been their outstanding collaborations with Nike, and releases like the one pictured above are helping to establish the brand on it’s own merit. The Undercover Neoboy is a Chuck Taylor-like canvas lowtop. The yellow upper tops a white midsole featuring Undercover’s signature text stripe, which includes food for thought like “Transformation is relative says neo boy.” Apparently, it’s a poem somehow relating to punk rock goddess Patti Smith, but we’ll leave it to you to decipher. Relatively interesting, even with the recent slew of similar releases, this pair can be had from Undercover’s Hong Kong b&m. Nike Sportswear is ramping up production on an exciting collection of lifestyle sneakers for 2009. The latest sleek silhouette to join the gang is the Nike Air Royal Mid Premium. Featuring familiar elements taken from legends like the Dunk and Terminator (we’re sure you can find plenty of other nods if you look closely), the Air Royal Mid is as elegant as we’ve seen. A black pair and a white pair both rise to the ankle in full grain leather with another perforated naked Swoosh that nicely compliments the low-profile vamp. Add a touch of reflective 3M on the rear collar and people are sure to take notice for all the right reasons. Get your grown and sexy on with the black joints and/or those all white steppers now at Size?

The Nike Zoom Waffle Racer is not one of Nike’s most prominent models, but it definitely has a good design to it; sometimes, the classic look is really the way to go. This particular incarnation comes in a black, green, and red colorway, with a nice patent leather swoosh. These are definitely a slick pair of shoes, and have a nice, clean colorway that will make people sit up and take notice. Despite being eye-catching, these shoes are hardly tacky or overdone; they manage to attract attention in a nice, low-key manner. With what looks to be premium-level materials, and a nice classic design, these kicks are definitely something to look forward to. They have just dropped in Japan at LTD but look for the US drop very soon.

We’re long overdue for another violet edition of the venerable Nike Air Force 1 and this version is sure to please. Appearing in a simple purple and white colourway, the side panels feature patent leather faux-croc skin for a nice tonal effect. If you like what you see, don’t be deterred by the ‘WMNS’ tag, they’re available now in women’s sizes up to 12 (despite what the coming link suggests, US womens 12 equals mens 10.5), and you can cop em from Kicks/HI.

Jordan Brand can’t shell out a fresh batch of player exclusives without including “Sugar” Ray Allen. With that being said, Sugar Ray will be sporting the Air Jordan 2009 in a style that is different from the two previous styles we have seen set to debut during the All Star Game. Ray Allen’s PE features more generous use of the navy blue to represent the Eastern Conference all-star team. The sole looks just like the one on Joe Johnson’s AJ 2009 PE with the navy and multi-hued mid-sole and white out-sole. On the upper, however, there is less white and more navy, which colors in all the gilled sections of the shoe along with the leather arond the ankle and heel. Bordering he navy is a brighter, university blue in the form of tasteful, patent leather sections around the navy blue. Expect these to assist in Ray Allen in some nice shots this weekend.

It looks like Chris Paul won’t be the only Jordan Brand athlete rocking the Air Jordan 2009 during this upcoming NBA All-Star game weekend. Joe Johnson, who will be going against Chris Paul and the Western Conference all-stars, has gotten his own PE of the Air Jordan 2009 in a very similar style to Chris Paul’s, but with blue instead of red. The middle area of the mid-sole is designed with a mixture of different hues of navy while the other navy accents on the shoe are limited to the area around the ankle. University blue is used on the lace eyelets, the single stitch on the side of the lower ankle and to spice up the heel tab. Be on the lookout for these and other PEs this weekend.
