The Jordan Dub Zero set the forthcoming “fusion” initiative in motion when it was launched in 2005. Successfully blending elements from seven different Jordan models, the Dub Zero was an instant favorite for many collectors. Although they were originally released in several colorways, there haven’t been any new versions for quite a while. No word on if there will be a retro comeback any time soon, but you can get your hands on a sweet limited release Black/Laser Blue pair now. This color scheme has been executed brilliantly and the laser printing looks better than ever. Get over to Marqueesole and pick up a nice addition to any Air Jordan collection.

Dwayne Wade is all recovered and back to being one of the NBA’s leading scorers, and with that has come his 4th signature shoe from Converse, which we saw a while back. Even though he is back to playing, we have yet to see him wear his newest shoe and that may be the reason why Converse designed this Wade 4.3 sample. Just like the Wade 1.3, which came out in between the Wade 1 and Wade 2, the Wade 4.3 may be a clue to what lies ahead for Wade’s signature line.
This sample comes in orange and white with a mostly orange upper featuring white stitching, white patent leather strips along the mid-panel and white leather around the holes on the ankles. No word on when these will release, but be sure to stay tuned for more news and peep the photos after the jump. via Kenlu

Aside from the general releases of one of newest Air Jordan Team sneakers, Jordan Brand has also given a few of their representatives on the NBA court, like Chris Paul and Ray Allen, their own player exclusives of the shoe. It shouldn’t be too surprising to hear that the most recent batch of Air Jordan Team 2.5 player exclusives have been designed for Michael Jordan’s own alma mater the University of North Carolina.
To continue their quest for the number one spot in the quickly approaching March Madness, Jordan Brand has outfitted the Tar Heels with a clean colorway of the Air Jordan Team 2.5 in a white and university blue colorway. The shoe contains the usual features of the 2.5 with a visible Nike Air bubble along with elephant print around the heel. University blue is used to accent the mid-sole, stitching on the upper, the heel tab, the lace eyelets and the inner. What you see on this shoe that you will not see on any other 2.5 is UNC’s logo in university blue stitching on the tongue as well as the dope, shiny treatment that has been applied to the lower part of the upper. Unlike the other PEs we have seen of the 2.5, these are not slated for any type of release at House of Hoops as the above shoe is a sample that landed in the hands of a lucky collector. via Kenlu

We’ve recently showed you some bold new looks from New Balance, and the new M850 is no exception. The sneaker, originally released in 1991, is back in a nice white/pink/teal version that may look very contemporary, but was obviously inspired by 90′s color schemes. Aside from looking good, this lightweight shoe is still built for performance, providing the comfort and cushioning we’ve come to expect from a New Balance sneaker. The M850 will be dropping in a few different colorways in 2009, but this version may very well be the pick of the litter. Available now at Atmos.

World renowned Japanese retailer Atmos and legendarily hip U.S. women’s fashion label X-Girl have teamed up with New Balance to create a fresh new H574 model for the ladies. We’ve recently been seeing some more flamboyant colorways from the traditionally conservative New Balance brand, and this collaboration definitely keeps up with the trend. The H574 features a black leather upper with large dot perforations that allow sections of pink and light green to show through the holes. Add to that some additional pink accents, a gold reflective “N” and an insole featuring the logos of all 3 brands, and you’ve got one of the most creative New Balance releases in a while. These are available now, complete with an extra set of pink laces, at Atmos.

Back at the beginning of December we showed you a very bright pair of Kevin Durant’s newest signature shoe from Nike, at the time we thought it was created to commemorate KD’s phenomenal rookie year and his Rookie of the Year Award however we were wrong. This pair of bright Nike KD1′s are in fact the pair that Kevin Durant will wear during All-Star Weekend when he participates in the Rookie/Sophomore Game. While it’s not uncommon for the NBA All-Star’s to bring out some bright and colorful kicks for the big game Sunday night, the Rookies and Sophomores have had a tendency to pull some dope kicks out of their gym bags over the course of the last few years. We’re sure no one can miss KD when he brings out these bright Orange sneakers that feature a speckled midsole. Look for these to be released in limited quantities at select Nike Basketball retailers including the House of Hoops doors. Pictures via MJ23KB24LB23 // Niketalk

The Nike Huarache 09 is one of the newest Nike Basketball shoes to have been released and will be one of the many different pairs seen on NBA players during the All-Star Game next weekend in Phoenix in addition to the second half of the 2008-09 NBA Season. The Huarache 09 as some of you are aware of is one of the shoes from Nike’s Considered Design initiative that seeks to create environmentally friendly shoes. This newest pair of the Huarache 09 is a bit special, not only does it come in the San Antonio Spurs’ home colorway of White, Black, and Metallic Silver but it also features Tony Parker’s Nike logo sewn into the shoe’s upper around the ankle area. You may notice that this particular Huarache features an “X” at the end of the shoe’s name and that’s because the shoe features “XDR” short for Extra Durable Rubber, which is used on the shoe’s sole. You can pick these up now at select Nike Basketball retailers as well as the Kix-Files Online Store.

Rounding out the interesting if inconsistent For Love of the City pack Nike is releasing exclusively at Foot Locker’s House of Hoops is the NYC release. In a sort of “Marcy to Hollywood and back again,” the New York joints are a Dunk, but unlike their low cut LA brethren, this pair is a Nike Dunk Hi Premium. The City that Never Sleeps deserves an outstanding effort and the glow-in-the-dark icy blue sole is among the dopest design elements we’ve seen. Riding atop this little piece of street-level genius is a white and silver upper with grey accents and a woven toebox that gives a nice tonal effect. Throw in a university blue tongue lining and heel-tab and there’s little doubt that these were crafted with care. If you love NY, get set to stand in line at the House of Hoops on (or before) Saturday, Feburary 21.

So you’ve seen the Houston-inspired Vandal Hi Premiums and LA-stitched Dunk Low Premiums; that mean’s there are two more drops from the Nike For Love of the City pack. While the earlier two had clear inspiration from their hometowns, the best we can make of this one is that they’re in bear colours (not Chicago Bears colours, but that’s the best hypothesis so far). Irrespective of their affiliation, this Nike Air Force II Premium is a beast in twine and British tan. Same deal as the other ones: out Saturday, Feburary 21 and only at the Foot Locker House of Hoops in Chi-town.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen a new pair of the hybrid Nike Air Blazer ACG Mids. In the meantime, Nike Sportswear has rolled out plenty of scrumptious Air Magmas. Since the ACG Blazer owes at least half of its heritage to the Magma, we’re thrilled to see the newest ones evoke the OG Magma’s best known colourway. Stompin’ the pavement on a chunky black midsole, this rugged boot is picture perfect in brown suede with red laces. NSW knocked this one out of the park, probably because they have homefield advantage: the newest Nike Air Blazer ACG Mid is available now at the 21 Mercer St. flagship store in New York and other NSW retailers.
