Just when you think the Dunk can’t get any funkier, this multicolored head turner pops up and reminds us how endless the possibilities really are. Boasting six different colors, not even counting the white and grey, this women’s Dunk High Premium edition will be sure to draw attention wherever they go. Rave pink, varsity red, bright yellow, aqua and grass green each command a different section of the the leather upper, but its the metallic orange heel panel that really makes this shoe stand out with a beautiful shimmer that falls somewhere between gold and copper. Granted, the outrageous appearance of this shoe is distracting, but don’t overlook the fact that this Dunk model features a Zoom sole and is built for maximum comfort. Get yours now at Overkill and nikestore, but be prepared for the stares.

Mark Gonzales is a killer two-way threat for adidas Skateboarding: their most noteworthy pro not only pushes Three Stripes’ skate kicks (figuratively and literally), but he designs ‘em too. Given Gonzales’ sponsorship, we hesitate to call this a collaboration, but the results are definitive. Sprucing up the Ciero with an interesting blue on black paint splatter that evokes palm trees and other exotic shapes, Gonzales succeeds in creating one of his best works to date. The black suede upper features tonal blue accents beyond the paint splatters, the same designs you’ll find on the matching hoodie and t-shirt. We know these are a part of the Spring 2009 drop for adidas’ skate division, and we’ll keep you posted when the concrete release date solidifies. Pics via CT

If you are a fan of the White/Volt colorway recently seen on the Air Max 1 and Air Max 90, you were probably hoping that it would bless the palettes of some other classic models. As luck would have it, a women’s Blazer Mid Premium in the crispy color combo has just hit the shelves overseas. The shoe appears very clean and simple from a distance, but a closer look reveals a subtle white on white pattern on the upper that appears to be comprised of x’s in a Gucci-esque checkered design. A gum toe cap throws a final cherry on top of this fresh new addition to the Blazer line-up. If you like what you see, you can grab a pair right now at Overkill.

One of the most talked about sneakers the past few months is the varsity purple Air Foamposite One, they officially released today. Most call them the eggplant Foamposite but the colors are black and varsity purple with a very icy clear outsole. With its futuristic styling, design and production, the Foamposite One has gained a loyal following since it initial release in the 90s. Nike has even created a boot version of the classic called the Foamposite Boot released recently in two colorways and potentially an Eggplant Foamposite Boot on the way as well. The Black/Varsity Purple Foamposite should have hit most retailers now, for those who missed them or have trouble finding them, they just released on nikestore.com (sold out), your best bet is on eBay at this point.

We already showed you the White/Volt women’s Blazer, and now comes the Vandal Premium High, also for the ladies. If the Blazer is a little too conservative for you, this Vandal edition has a little more flavor to it. The Vandal hasn’t been getting much love lately, and this release makes us wonder why. This shoe features the same crossing decorative pattern as the Blazer, but the design is magnified, with more contrast in colors to give it more defined visibility. The volt green is also more prominently featured, gracing the sole, ankle strap and outlining the swoosh. Like the Blazer, this version can be found as we speak at Overkill.

It might be hard to keep track of all the numbered models they’ve released over the years, but one thing is clear: New Balance has a buncha lucky digits. The 576 runner might be the most common, especially with literally hundreds of toned down colourways dropping at Foot Locker and other retailers over the past decade or so. Most of those were nubuck and/or leather, so this new set in grey canvas and suede is quite refreshing. We can’t help but think of Nike’s “cool grey”, and much like the eastern USA, these are simply ice cold. Unless you’ve been using Firefox for days without rebooting, the internet just doesn’t freeze, and luckily for us, these are ready now at Size?

Vans has just released a couple of new 106 SF models. While at first glance the canvas upper shoes may look a lot like the Chukka Low, however the 106 SF boasts more comfort while attempting to be more environmentally friendly. In place of the popular classic Vans sole, The 106 SF uses Vanslite technology that provides a lighter sole while also adhering to a more waste free production. The interior of the shoes feature a Dri-lex material and a bamboo foot bed lining that promises to wick away moisture. The Vans 106 SF is available now in red or black canvas at Size?.

Let’s get one thing straight, right off the bat: these aren’t “Venoms”, “Stormtroopers”, “Vaders” . . . they don’t have a nickname! We’re sure they’ll get one soon enough, but with the fiasco surrounding the supposed monikers for the last pair of Dunks with similar colourblocking, we prefer to judge these on their own merit. This new pair of Nike Dunk SB Low Premiums just surfaced on Jordan8420, and though they aren’t available and haven’t been priced, we are expecting them sometime this year, probably Fall or Winter (given their absence from the Summer 2009 preview). We have plenty of pics after the jump, so try to parcel out your excitement throughout the year to avoid another black and white mess.

The DC Shoes Double Label Project has shown positive results thus far. It started slowly, but lately DC is pullin’ a Puffy and simply cannot be slowed. Up next is a collaboration with French artist AKROE. Gussying up the DC Zander and Sector 7s with a mashup of teal and white grids, we’ll take the opposite stance of the “non merci” (literally: “no thank you”) embroidery on each pair’s left heel. The nearly identical side panels on both pairs get a nice contrast with teal and yellow linings, respectively. Add to that translucent soles revealing a beautiful female face and several pieces of clothing and these joints will be ready to go this fall from retailers like Vagant.

As part of the collaborative DVS x Diamond Supply Co. VVS pack, this sick pair of DVS Daytons is definitely a clean release from the two skate industry titans. Bearing a classic colorway that some may attribute to a certain high-end luxury brand, these Daytons are definitely a clean drop, and the materials look top-notch; everything one would expect from a collaboration between companies such as these is definitely here and on-point. As a continuation of the DVS “Original Intent” series of kicks- a previous collaboration with Mighty Healthy can be seen here- these Daytons are a great release, and do justice to the aesthetics of both brands involved. These will be dropping this Saturday, Feb. 7th at the Diamond Supply Co. Fairfax store as part of the VVS pack, so don’t sleep! Big thanks to Nick from Diamond Supply for the pic and Tonytone for the heads up; images via C to the JL.

The Nike Air Penny II shoe made a comeback in it’s original colorway during the Fall/Winter season of 2008 and now a year later the shoe will be released again in a new non-original colorway of Black on Black. The Air Penny II shoe was one of the shoe’s that defined Nike Basketball in the 1990′s and perhaps we would’ve seen this colorway of the shoe had Penny not been playing for the Orlando Magic, but now that Penny is retired and this shoe is officially a Retro model from Nike it seems we will be seeing some dope colorways of it such as the all Black colorway that is due out in Fall of 2009. via cubanbee // Niketalk
