In the early 90′s, Andre Agassi set the tennis world on fire with his renegade fashion sense and the help of the Nike Air Tech Challenge. Fans of the sneaker were treated to a couple of retros last year and will be excited to see that an unreleased sample in a new colorway has just popped up on ebay. This white/green/purple low model was originally slated for a May 2008 release, but for some reason, never saw the light of day. At least one sample has slipped through the cracks and now sneakerheads get a look at what we missed out on. If you are a size 9, this may be your lucky day, assuming you act fast and get to the Saltur Footwear ebay page.

Vans has just dropped a brand new Lifestyle Sneaker dubbed the Zapato Del Barco, which literally translates to ‘Boat Shoes’. Vans take on the classic casual boat shoe features a smooth leather and suede paneled upper. White eyelets placed around the shoes collar off set the tonal upper to match the soles. The mid soles of the shoes sport the familiar Vans look with the classic Vans ‘Off The Wall’ heel tab. However the out soles resemble more of a boat shoe. The Vans Zapato Del Barco is available now in either Deep Red/Asparagus White or Black/True White colorways at Size?.

You can trust Sneaker News to be on top of street-level kicks, so the complete and utter absence of a presence from Pointer denotes their place in the shoe game (or lack thereof). Come to think of it, we think we remember Pointer as a workwear brand (think Dickies), but can’t remember the last time we saw the label in stores. It looks like this is all about to change, thanks to some design cues taken from the significantly better established Vans. Following Off the Wall’s use of clean styling, Pointer shows us three new pairs from their Spring/Summer 2009 lineup. The Mathieson (shown above) reminds us of countless midtop skate sneaks, while the Barajas favors a boot-like flavor. If you like the taste, cop one or more of the wide variety found at Size?

To date, the adidas Consortium collection’s best work is hands down the utterly breathtaking aZX Project. Considering the lofty heights reached on the wings of collaborating with the world’s best-known sneaker boutiques, it’s unlikely that these releases will usurp the aZX-held throne, but these are certainly worthy additions. The Spring/Summer 2009 adidas Consortium collection incluedes several models we’ve come to know and love, all of which heavily rely upon patterns for texture. From the seizure-inducing zig-zag striped Stan Smiths to the Conductor His that use colourful stripes and midsole for a little pop, this set is certainly interesting to look at. The Micropacers feature a unique overlay comprised of bits of company documents and drawings, while the Metro Attitudes remind us of Nike’s Winter Pack. Though the amazing ZX800s might overshadow the rest of the collection in some minds, these are all ready now at retailers like VA.

You’ve already seen the 90′s skater-inspired Dunks, a seemingly T-19 Dunk-inspired pair of Zoom Tre A.D.s and a pair of purple denim Dunks, but don’t think Nike Skateboarding forgot about their other staples. Perhaps most noteworthy of these is the “Cadbury” P-Rod IIs that remind us of the packaging of everyone’s favorite cream-filled easter chocolate. Last, but certainly not least are a pair of black & red lowcut Blazers and new Zoom Harbors in blue with tonal yellow accents. True Cadbury fans know that Easter is in April this year, but these joints are all available now at retailers like CCS. Pics via HB

The Nike Twilight Runner combines design elements from classic Nike running shoes to bring us a new style with a familiar look. Traces of the Pegasus, Air Stab and Air Structure Triax can be found in the Twilight, but it definitely has its own personality. A couple of colorways have already been released overseas, but none have had the classic appeal that this white/teal/grey version possesses. The shoe has a classic color scheme that really captures the feeling of the era from which they were inspired, so much so that many people will probably think this is a retro model. This tasty edition can be copped right now at Titolo.

To coincide with some of their upcoming retro releases, Jordan Brand has put together the Legendary LS apparel collection. At first glance, it is apparent that Max Orange and Grey will play a big part in this year’s retro campaign. The collection features these colors or a combination of the two on many of its pieces. Two crewnecks, two full-zip hoodies and two 1/2-zip anoraks are the highlights of the collection, but the other items are not to be overlooked. A blue elephant skin print jacket and traditional grey/black elephant wallet are also included, as well as the new “A Love Story” t-shirt in both black and white. The entire collection is at the MajorDC store now and available for phone order.

Nike’s Fall 2009 Collection of classic running sneakers is looking impressive as we will be seeing more colorways of the Nike Air Max ST, the return of the Air Footscape, and a couple dope Classic BW colorways. The Air Footscape will be used as the silhouette of choice on a collaboration between Hiroshi Fujiwara and Nike but here we see a regular Black and Royal colorway of the shoe that is pretty dope. Lastly the Air Classic BW, one of the most overlooked Air Max shoes in Nike’s history, the two colorways of this shoe in Fall 2009 will feature a durasheen mesh, with one of them getting a small hit of the Nike Safari print. via cubanbee // Niketalk
Update: We incorrectly called the Air Max ST the Air Tailwind 92. Our apologies.

We’ve seen a few of Nike’s Fall 2009 samples already including the “Safari Pack” of Women’s Air Max 1′s and now we have some additional pictures of samples from Nike Sportswear’s Fall 2009 lineup of shoes including a new Nike Air Trainer III, the original Air Trainer SC (Bo Jackson signature shoe), and last but not least the Agassi Hybrid sneaker that will debut during the Summer months of this year. The Air Trainer III comes in a White based leather with a mixture of Silver and Tan, a clean colorway that will definitely be suitable for the Fall months. The Air Trainer SC is a classic from Nike and it’s been a while since the shoe has been retroed in this original colorway of White and Total Orange; we’re definitely glad Nike is bringing this back. Lastly, the Agassi Hybrid, while we are still debating what we think of this shoe this Black and Aqua colorway is not bad and definitely gives the shoe some attitude. via cubanbee // Niketalk

If you’re the type of lady who agrees with your friends choice of bands by saying, “No, I love Girl Talk”, then you might find these Pumas a perfect fit. The paradoxically-named Puma Unlimited Hi LTDs appear in ultrabrite fuchsia, yellow and lime green. Our favorite part of these is the fat lace, and although these won’t turn heads quite the same way neon palates did a few years back, these stand to be a solid release when they drop at retailers like Vagant in Q3/Fall 2009.

Yesterday, we showed you a preview of two creative new looks for the Terminator High, but it seems that Nike’s plans for the classic shoe didn’t stop there. A new version has been released in brown suede with oxblood red and citrus green highlights. The standout feature of the shoe is the gingham check pattern on the toebox and upper heel. The pattern also appears on the laces in a color scheme that uses the shoe’s bright accent colors. For a sneaker originally created as a performance basketball shoe, the Terminator has come a long way, becoming a stylish lifestyle model thanks to the recent fashionable versions that have been popping up. Unlike the two pairs we showed you yesterday, these are already available at Size?.

At the end of December of 2008 we gave you a look at a pair of Varsity Royal, Grey, and Gum Air Force II High’s and now two months later it seems that Nike Sportswear has just released a compliment to that Air Force II High with another AFII High that uses the same Gum outsole as well as other similar materials. The colorway of this Air Force II reminds us of one of the hardest shoes to find to this day in the Wu-Tang Dunk. Look for these at select Nike Sportswear retailers. via SOLEblvd
