No, it’s not a rollerblade. The Nike ACG Ashiko Boot is named after a footborne martial arts spike, and although it lacks cleats, it’s sure to offer superiour traction. The high cut silhouette features Flywire to offer a durable ride without the added weight of most boots. The pair pictured above features outrageous orange, green and blue accents fit right into the ACG heritage while maintaining a modern edge. No word on their release as of today, so stay tuned to Sneaker News for updates. via SnkrFrkr

It seems like the designers at Nike Sportswear have been real busy coming up with a variety of schemes for everybody’s favorite Nike runners, especially considering all the samples we’ve seen this year. A Nike Air Max BW sample has recently surfaced featuring a black and purple colorway accented by iconic safari print and other features. The sole is broken up in two by a divide between the clean, white in the front and metallic silver used on the back half, around the Nike Air bubble. Black mesh material covers all the areas on the upper that aren’t adorned with shiny, black leather and a white Swoosh. What makes this sample pop is the subtle, purple used beside the lace eyelets and a safari print covered tongue. There is no word on when these will release, but stay tuned to Sneaker News for the latest. via breadtalker of SC Forums

Another nice piece of Puma’s Rudolf Dassler collection, the Einfluss takes the classic approach into the future with some fashionable touches. Like the Wellengang, the Einfluss features some premium materials and a sophisticated look. A wide strap covers the shoe’s midsection and the tongue and ankle lining feature sections of mesh. One of the Einfluss’s most noticable aspects is the low cut on the heel section of the midsole that allows the upper to extend down much further than usually seen on a sneaker. This model also features the “Rudolf Dassler” tongue label and the classic Puma logo. Look for these to hit shelves with the Wellengang later this year. via kenlu.

Both feature a striped toe cap t0 give the shoe a little added flavor. The Wellengang features a special “Rudolf Dassler” tongue label and a classic Puma logo on the side of the upper. Stay tuned for release details. via kenlu.

The ALIFE Everybody Mid is back with a new look for Spring 2009. Everybodys are clearly a takeoff on the classic Nike Dunk silhouette, so it’s not surprising that one of the two key design elements is being used by the Swoosh as well: nylon uppers. To add some originality, the good folks down at Rivington St. applied something of a checkerboard pattern, except that half of the contrast has been removed. The effect is something of a grid of coloured squares laid atop a black base. Available in green, blue and red, these are ready now at flauge.

Supra’s Suprano Hi is making quite a name for itself. Otherwise known as Jim Greco’s Pro Model, the strappy skater is getting more love now that Supra is well established thanks to the soaring success that is the Chad Muska Skytop. It’s time for Greco to spread the love around, so naturally, he chose his own skateboard company for a collabo.
Dreamed up in conjunction with Deathwish, the pack consists of Greco’s treads and the Diablo Lo. The Diablo rocks a simple black and yellow design atop a white midsole, while the outrageous Suprano, according to Greco, “was influenced by the Black guy from the mental institution in Nightmare on Elm Street 4 (Dream Masters) because he had some Red Hightops on.” These are ready now at Supra accounts like SkateAmerica. via SnkrFrkr

Do not adjust your monitors. These Puma’s are not in fact melting. What they are though, is one of the most creative sneaker designs seen in a while. Images popped up a few months back of a high-top silver model using this dripping sole mold and now we get a look at a low version. Designed by frequent Puma collaborator, Mihara Yasuhiro, this shoe is a unique combination of art and fashion. While this low model may not be quite as flashy as the silver version, the red, white and blue gives this sneaker some personality of its own. The gum sole gives the shoe a classic look, but its fashion-forward aesthetic will immediately separate it from anything else on the shelves. Expect these to arrive at select Puma retailers in time for the spring/summer season. via kenlu.

Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III
354815-011
Last week, we got a good look at the new Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III. Those were in the ‘primary’ black/white/red colourway, and now we have a pair that emphasizes the Cleveland Cavaliers’ other colours. This new pair is mostly navy blue and white with a little red to fully tie in the Cavs’ uniforms. King James will rock these come playoff time and we expect both pairs in late spring/early summer.

Last week, we showed you some nice looks at the women’s Court Force and Vandal Low from Nike’s recently released Pucci pack. Now the Outbreak High will join the others in displaying some colorful designs inspired by late fashion designer, Emilio Pucci. Unlike the other two models, which only used the Pucci design on select panels, the Outbreak’s entire upper features the pattern. With a closer look, you can see that the design is comprised of sneakers and laces in bright pastel colors. The shoe also sports a fresh grey midsole with liquid lime highlights and the same gold bow dubrae seen on the Court Force and Vandal. Look for these now at select Nike retailers including nikestore.com. via nitrolicious.
