Nike Foamposite Lite Kryptonate Official Release Date

If you are a frequent reader of this site and haven’t been living under a rock for the last couple weeks, you are probably well versed by now on the ongoing Kryptonate saga. After the stellar spotlight they received during All-Star Weekend, Nate Robinson’s Kryptonite-inspired Nike Foamposite Lites have instantly ascended to legendary status and have become one of the most vigorously coveted sneakers in recent memory. Since the Dunk Contest, a controversial pair showed up on eBay and sold for an absurd amount, further increasing the buzz and the public outcry for a retail release.

It is unknown if Nike was planning a release from the start or if the overwhelmingly positive response simply made it a no-brainer. Was it marketing genius or just good old popular demand? Most likely, it was a little bit of both, but whatever the impetus, the simple fact is that this shoe will be arriving in limited quantities at House of Hoops Harlem on the greenest of all days, March 17th. Repeat: The Kryptonates will be hitting House of Hoops Harlem on St. Patty’s Day. You asked for ‘em. You got ‘em. Now don’t miss your chance to actually get ‘em. via Foot Locker Unlocked.
