We just saw a Nike SB Dunk Mid inspired by the omnipresent boob tube, and now another indispensable modern invention is getting its due.  Known for his ability to heat up quickly as the Detroit Pistons’ sixth man during their illustrious Bad Boys era, Vinnie ‘The Microwave’ Johnson added “Instant Offense” in the form of crucial “Bench Points” for those two-time NBA Champion Pistons.  Those phrases appear on the insole along with a microwave front panel design.  On the outside, metallic silver compliments classic Dee-troit Basketball colours on this House of Hoops-exclusive pair of Nike Delta Force Mids.  Throw in a mock-LED “NIKE” on the heel and the theme is complete.  They’re set to drop on March 21 for anyone who wants to cop this interesting makeup.  via SC
