‘Toned-down’ and ‘Bape’ probably aren’t words that you’d associate together. Well, these latest pairs, relative to their legacy, are just that. Still featuring bright patent leather with a sparkly coat, these two-toned A Bathing Ape Bapestas are about as subdued as the Japanese brand gets. Each features a translucent speckled sole that isn’t exactly ‘Icey’, but looks nifty nonetheless. You can cop these now at any Bape Chapter Store. via HB

Bape is dead. The consumers got smart. We’d rather spend $200+ on a package or a hyperstrike. Sorry nigo. We wised up.

^^You’re wrong….BAPE consistently sells over 98% of their product for the asking price. Walk into Bape Shibuya and try getting anything the day after it drops…..not a chance. Nike could build a planet out of the shoes that hit discount shelves a month after they drop, along with Puma, Adidas, New Balance, etc…..
