On the heels of the wild turquoise/purple Quickstrike edition of the Nike Terminator that we showed you last week, comes a flashy new version that keeps up with the bolder recent rends. The Terminator continues to evolve with an attention-grabbing new spring colorway for the classic basketball model. This latest color scheme features some crisp solid white leather on the majority of the upper, but it’s the metallic silver panels and neon yellow laces that give these kicks their personality. Look for these to drop on April 1st at the 21 Mercer store and select Nike Sportswear retailers. via complex.

Last month, New Balance fans were delighted to see a colorful new version of the classic M850 and now we get news of three new colorways that will also join New Balance’s spring ’09 collection. Although the design is originally from 1991, the look and performance of the M850 still holds its own with current running models. In addition to the white/pink/teal pair we already showed you will be white/blue/yellow, teal/white/purple and fuchsia/black/white versions, all freshly dipped for the warm weather. All four colorways are hitting New Balance retailers as we speak, so don’t sleep. Check out detailed pics of the teal/purple pair after the jump. via nicekicks.

Nike SB is ramping up the hype machine for their late 2009 releases. Along with some pictures of the entire Fall lineup that dropped elsewhere, we are starting to see some SB Dunks for Winter 2009. Here we see two pairs of Highs and two Lows. Three are Premium editions, save the obsidian/charcoal lowtops. Perhaps the standout of the bunch is the Skate Mental/Crailtap Hightop. All of Skate Mental’s riders are sponsored by Nike SB, including Reese Forbes and the recently signatured Daryl Angel. SM’s Dunk is done in rich chocolate brown suede with baby blue and off-white accents. Take a look at all the pics after the jump so you’ll know which ones to cop come the next cold spell. via NikeSB.org

You may have seen a couple of shots of these on the 21 Mercer St. blog. Our boy Pete from Premium Laces hooked up a killer Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke recently, and we have exclusive pics of the elephant printed love. At first glance, what you see is impressive enough: ultra-contrast elephant print in cement/black on the toe, eyelets and heel while silver and white hold it down on the side panel and Swoosh, respectively. A good choice on the icey sole, although we’re starting to think these things can make every Bespoke joint look dope.
In case Pete decides to rock these at night, just the right conditions reveal the side panels and tongue to have reflective 3M treatment and also show the Swoosh in it’s patent leather loveliness. Lacelocks imprinted with Pete’s little girl’s name, ‘Sky’ complete the personalized effect. You’ve got zero chance of getting your own pair, so click the jump to enjoy the other pictures and keep it locked here on Sneaker News for news and exclusives.

About a month ago, we saw a delicious pair of perforated Nike Air Max 90s in grey suede. These use the same bright blue accents, but instead of perforated suede, we see the mesh and leather treatment more common to the Air Max 90 Current. This Tier 0 (TZ) release from Nike Sportswear will surely be hard to find (and/or expensive), but you can’t argue with a look that manages to tie together nearly two decades of Nike running styles. A perfect addition to NSW’s goal of preserving the Swoosh legacy, these will drop soon. Stay tuned to Sneaker News for more info. via Provider

The new runners out of Beaverton keep on rolling today. Here’s a new Nike Air Max 1 QS that would be right at home conducting a coal-driven train. The upper features blue and white striped denim at varying widths for a slightly disorienting tonal effect. Take a step back and they look more like tonal cobalt, and the white Swoosh, laces and midsole have do a nice job of grounding the textures. Following the texture-as-colour theme the insoles feature a quiltwork grid of as many knit patterns as you could possibly imagine. Keep it glued to Sneaker News for more info on a possible US release. via Provider

Last month, we gave you a close-up look at the Akron edition Zoom LeBron VI that King James was seen wearing courtside at the NBA Slam Dunk Contest. The shoe is a tasteful homage to LeBron’s home town, using a navy/white/gold colorway to represent the city and the University of Akron. This Lebron VI features a white toe section and a navy upper scrawled with illustrated shout outs to LeBron’s childhood street and city. Everything seems to come together nicely, making this one of the freshest LeBron VI’s so far. Look for these to hit House of Hoops this Friday, March 13th. via Foot Locker Unlocked.

We all love how Nike SB and Premium releases from the Swoosh at-large come with multiple laces. We love Starks Laces as well, so why not throw em against a wall? It turns out, they stick together quite nicely, as Starks is releasing packs of laces along with singles. Their Solids Pack consists of a palette you can pop into a whole bunch of kicks: red, purple and Tiffany blue. In addition, the lace specialists also have all three available individually. The only difference is, the indy Tiffanys have black aglets, whereas the others are all white. Any of these are available in the traditional 45′ and 54′ lengths, and are ready to be had now from Starks Online Shop.

So many colorways of the Air Max 95 have dropped over the years, but nothing seems to bring out its full potential quite like the classic black-to-grey gradient coloring. Back in October, we showed you a preview of two upcoming versions using this classic color scheme as their base, and now the Fresh Water colorway has arrived. Like the beloved Neon retro version that was recently re-released in Japan, this Air Max 95 features a black midsole with each layer getting lighter as they ascend on the upper. The only real difference with these is that they obviously swap the Neon Yellow for Fresh Water accents. The result is an incredible retro model with a nice new color twist. Look for these now at most retailers including nikestore.com.

Last week, we previewed the debut of the Hyperdunk on Nike iD and now with March Madness looming, Nike kicks the release into full gear with this hilarious inside look into one of the country’s premiere college basketball programs. Check out legendary Duke shot caller, Coach K., letting the well-meaning Blue Devil mascot and a trio of Cameron Crazies down easy after their failed attempts at designing the team’s NCAA Tournament shoe. The bad news is that you are also too late to create Duke’s kicks, but on the bright side, you can still bless the Hyperdunk with all your own personal preferences now that the popular basketball shoe has joined the Nike iD family. Check out NIKEiD.com and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more March Madness action from Nike.

Pack it up, pack it in. Let me begin: adidas came to win with this uber-Irish limited edition kelly green Campus. Inspired by and emblazoned with their logo, this pair embodies House of Pain’s Boston-born rap styles. These joints are done in a lush suede with tonal laces and white Stripes for contrast. Beantown’s favourite sneaker boutique, Concepts is throwing a signing party on St. Patty’s Day, March 17th at 3pm. If you find yourself near Harvard Square on the greenest of all days, be sure to stop in and ‘Jump Around’.

When we first previewed this Nike SB Dunk High Premium all the way back in October, it quickly built a strong buzz and now it’s finally here. The latest themed SB Dunk High to hit the shelves is inspired by Family Guy’s deranged but lovable deviant, Glen Quagmire. Like his go-to shirt, the mid and heel sections of the upper feature a red base with embroidered gold stars. The remainder of the upper is blue like Quagmire’s favorite blue pants with additional touches provided by a classic white midsole and gum outsole. This SB Dunk also features yellow stitching on the midsole, a dark red lining and both white and yellow laces. These are available now at DQM and other select SB accounts. Giggity giggity.
