In 2004, Nike’s Innovation Kitchen initiated a deep dive research project. Directive: Develop a 21st century boot for 21st century high speed operators. Objective: Maximize performance during the average rotation of the elite professional in the military, law enforcement or other first responder capacities. Result: The lightest weight, fastest drying, highest mobility performance boot we’ve ever made. The Nike SFB Extremely Lightweight: Size 10 boot weighs 15.9 oz. Flexible (promotes natural motion): Utilizes new technology targeted for optimizing athletic speed and agility for peak performance. Very comfortable: No “break-in period” needed was a common response from soldiers and others when testing this product. Superior comfort for extended wear, right out of the box. Truly athletic: Inspired by and built for, the equals to any tier one athletes on the planet: elite military, law enforcement and first responder professionals. Heritage: Nike’s co-founder and legendary University of Oregon Track coach Major Bill Bowerman served in the 10th Mountain Division and was decorated during World War II. Nike recently announced the SFB Boot and for those anticipating the sneaker, you can get both colors now at nikestore.com.

Nike’s been using alot of nylon lately, and their Vandal-Inspired Dunks were the shout that started an avalanche. This new pair of Nike Dunk High Nylon Premiums appears in an abominable mix of white and neutral grey plus a touch of colour on the tongue tag. We think they’re a masterful approach to the white shoe for summer, but if you think they’re a little too low-key, feel free to pop in the complimentary purple laces. These are available now at NSW retailers like Sneakers N Stuff.

We usually bemoan the seemingly forgotten mantra of ‘pink and shrink’ for ladies sneakers, but these are dope enough to make an exception to the rule. This pair of Nike Air Force 1 WMNS is the counter-offer to a pair we saw earlier this week. We saw em a while back and figured that the colours and flower pring indicated a Valentines Day release, but these will do just fine for spring/summer. The key feature is the rear quarter/heel panel, which features pink with white flowers near the front and flips these hues about halfway back. They’ll drop soon at select NSW retailers stateside, and you can cop em now from atmos.

LaDainian Tomlinson put his mark on the 1World series of Nike Air Force 1s a while back. Though the AF1 is a basketball shoe first and lifestyle choice second, here’s another take on them inspired by Nike’s football athletes. The 2009 NFL Pro Bowl edition of the Nike Air Force 1 was given to the select few who made it to Honolulu a week after Super Bowl XLIII. Featuring a dope mix of blues spread across premium leather and suede, these joints rock an archipellago on the rear quarter area in honour of the game’s home for the last 30 years.
Announced earlier that the NFL’s All Star game will return to Aloha Stadium in 2011 after a one-night stand at Miami’s Dolphin Stadium next year, the Pro Bowl itself is a much easier ticket than these kicks. Though you’re in the same boat with LT in not getting a pair of these by earning a Pro Bowl nod, you can always check the ‘bay. In lieu of getting your hands on a pair, feel free to click the jump and enjoy a few more shots. via TSG

After watching their team dispatched by Mizzou’s squad, fans of the University of Memphis are unquestionably angered by seeing the ‘other’ Tigers still hoopin’ it up in search of a ticket to Detroit. Maybe this’ll cheer ‘em up. Though they’ll likely never be worn, since Memphis’ second season with the Swoosh will probably feature new kicks for the 2009-10 season, this pair of Nike Zoom LeBron VIs with their logo on the outer heel is still quite impressive. Featuring a black toe with the remainder of the upper in blue suede, these joints are perfectly balanced with a white swoosh, midsole stitching and other accents. Memphis’ shot at the title is gone while LeBron’s is gaining momentum. Whether you’ll be able to grasp this grail is uncertain, but we’ll be sure to let you know if these ever release. via SC

It was only a matter of time. The Air Jordan Dub Zero got the hybrid ball rolling and the Six (6) Rings focused solely on the kicks MJ rocked whilst marching toward the Larry O’Brien Trophy. In between, a whole line of hybrids mashing various Air Jordans into the Air Force 1 emerged as the Air Jordan Force series. Both the Dub Zero and Six Rings featured the Air Jordan XIII‘s triangular side panels and that model is finally being ‘Forced’.
The Air Jordan Force XIII (AJF13) appears here in early artists renderings, having yet to emerge in sample form. AJ fans will recognize them as the regular season home colourway, the Flint Grey All Star do-up that graced the latest Six Rings that released today and the playoff palette worn in the 1998 tourney’s road games. All three feature the aforementioned golf ball-inspired side panels and two of the three have dimpled straps. Other notable design elements include the outer heel hologram inserts
A ‘Nike Air’ logo on the formerly soft elastic, now suede/leather upper heel and a two-toned AF1 sole divided by the pod-like design on the AJXIII bring the design together. Stick with Sneaker News and we’ll keep you up to date with the latest pictures and release info.

Vans Vault stormed onto the scene a few months back with mostly old models featuring premium materials and/or slight modifications. The few entirely new designs we’ve seen have been dope, and here’s another. The Vans Vault Needle Lx appears in the vein of the classic Era and Authentic models, but unlike those lowtop lovelies, these joints feature a sleek one-piece construction from the toe all the way back through the side panel. The front part features tonal stitching while the only overlay is demarked by white stitching along the rear quarter/heel area (*although the pair above clearly features all-tonal stitching). Some feature white plastic eyelets, others opt for tonal polymers, but all of them feature a lower-profile version of Off the Wall’s classic vulcanized rubber sole. These will drop in Fall 2009 and we’ll have plenty of pics and info to tide you over till then. via Marcus Troy

We’ve gotten some good looks recently at both the ‘standard’ and Playoff Pack (POP) versions of the Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III. King James is unlikely to don these on-court, but the latest Soldier III looks like a perfect fit for your streetball attack this summer. Featuring an all black upper with tiny traces of silver and red, the key feature of this pair of Soldier IIIs is the camoflauge-print outsole. It’s most visible on the forefoot area, and a flip to the bottom reveals the classic army green, brown and black squiggles. We’ll keep you posted on the official release date for these. via MJ23KB24LB23

As many of you Jordan Brand fans already know the Air Jordan 6 Rings is a fusion of the different shoes MJ wore when he won each one of his six NBA Championship Rings, one of the most prominent shoes of the 6 Rings is the Air Jordan XIII and when the Air Jordan XIII was released in the late 1990’s there was one particular colorway that didn’t match any colorway of the Chicago Bulls uniform, but yet it still was loved by a number of Jordan fans, that particular colorway was the White and Flint Grey colorway of the AJ XIII. Now it looks like one of the upcoming Air Jordan 6 Rings colorways will be inspired off of that original “Flint Grey” Air Jordan XIII. This colorway is fairly limited so look for them at select Air Jordan retailers and at nikestore.com.

This weekend the last of the six rings Championship Pack ends with the Utah Jazz Air Jordan Six Rings, and two Utah Jazz Air Jordan 1 Low Phat. This three pack of Jordan sneakers represents Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bull’s 90′s dynasty ‘repeat the three-peat ‘ where they defeated the Supersonics in 95/96 season and the double defeats of the Utah Jazz during the 96/97 and 97/98 seasons. A season after MJ’s sixth ring, he made his second retirement official ending one of the greatest periods in the history of basketball. Look for the three this weekend at Air Jordan retailers and at nikestore.com.
