If you are like us, anytime you hear the words Supreme and Nike SB in the same sentence, your ears probably perk right up. Thanks to issue number 11 of Shoes Master, we get our first look at an upcoming collaboration between two heavyweights in the game. It appears that the subject of this project will be a Nike SB Bruin, decked out in some bright red leather with gold accents. The words “world famous” appear under the Nike logos on the left and right heel and again on the gold insoles along with the Supreme logo. Stay tuned for more information on this heavily anticipated collaboration. For now, you can pick up the new issue of Shoes Master at Gettry to tide you over until some more images arrive.
Update: More info on the Nike SB Zoom Bruin x Supreme Collection, it seems there will be four colorways, including a red, green, black and a off white with the retail price at $98. As both Shoes Master and Complex magazine have publish stories on these, we’re sure Supreme will have a piece on these with release dates soon. Photos: Complex Magazine Scans

First the Nike Hyperdunk came along and revolutionized the style and performance expected from a basketball sneaker. Building on the framework of their success, Nike helped the Hyperdunk to evolve into the Hypermax and Hyperlite, all using Nike’s newest construction innovations in an effort to ensure that these models are among the most lightweight, functional basketball shoes on the market. It seems as though the Hyperlite edition has been renamed the Hyperize, but still maintains the same design. Previews of the Hypermax and Hyperlite have been circulating for a while, creating a nice buzz among Nike Basketball fanatics and now with the news of the name change, also comes some new images of the black and red Hyperize model. The shoe features a black upper with red and white highlights, as well as a cut-out section on the ankle and a nice dose of Flywire technology to hold things together. If you are impressed with what you see, get over to marqueesole and be among the first to cop this cool new style.

Because of their ability to keep all their classic styles fresh with creative new design concepts, the Vans catalog seems to be an infinite source of simple canvases just waiting to be colored in. This spring, Vans will be freshening up their iconic Era sneaker with a variety of colors and textures. Two of the new Era models feature a croc skin-type material on the mid panels, sandwiched by suede on the toe and heel. Both a red/white and grey/purple version will be available in the croc style, with a third Vans Era using a two-tone black and white colorway with red accents. As always, Vans brings variety and fun with each release and shows that these old school models still have plenty of style possibilities to work with. You can pick up these and other releases from the Vans spring collection now at DQM.

Ever since little Nate Robinson broke out the Kryptonate version of the Foamposite Lite at All-Star Weekend, the shoe has seen a huge spike in popularity even when it’s not dipped in glowing green hues. Wisely riding the incredible Kryptonate momentum, Nike will make the Foamposite Lite a part of this year’s Playoff Pack, creating this pair for the Phoenix Suns’ Amare Stoudemire. This version will feature a nice clean silver upper with several sections of black and some nice purple highlights on the Swoosh, lining and laces. The purple fits in well with the Phoenix color scheme and a special personalized tongue label features Amare’s nickname “STAT” (Standing Tall and Talented) and some cool tribal-looking graphics. With the Suns still scratching and clawing at the 8th and final playoff spot in the West, lets hope Amare actually gets to lace these up under the NBA’s playoff lights. Look for these to hit the shelves along with the rest of Nike’s Playoff Pack some time in May. via dunk.com.

The folks at Vans have been working overtime to make sure that there is something for everybody in their new Spring ’09 collection. One of its beloved classic models, the Chukka, will receive a variety of different looks this season, from the casual and conservative to something a little more unorthodox. Three new Chukka colorways are hitting Vans retailers as we speak. The green pair from the “Khaki” pack that we previewed yesterday and a light beige version are definitely more on the subtle side, but if you crave something a little more fun, Vans has got you covered with a neat red, white and blue pair that features a zig-zagging stripe pattern that covers most of the upper. If one or more of the three styles grabs your interest, you can find them at DQM now.

With the Cleveland Cavaliers well on their way to the strongest regular season finish in the franchise’s history, it’s only fitting that their main attraction should get a nice new shoe to show off in the playoffs. Last month, we showed you some images of a similar colorway for LeBron’s Zoom Soldier III, but these new ones are a little different, flipping the placement of certain white and black sections of the shoe. This version still uses a black/white/red color scheme, but on these, the toe cap is black patent leather and the straps and section of the upper beneath them is now white. Also, a red and white midsole gives the shoe a nice shot of color to spice up the basic black and white upper. Look for these to begin hitting Nike retailers in time for this year’s NBA Playoffs. Stay tuned for the official release details. via dunk.com

Playboy is going after the sneakerhead market with a recent photo shoot which involves sexy lingerie, models and kicks. Our friends at Nice Kicks reports that Playboy stopped by Leaders1354 in Chicago to cop a few pairs of Kicks for the models to wear. These may are may not be NSFW…

As promised, here’s the pair to round out the ‘Lvevl’ triad. This Vans Vault Sk8-Hi LX from the ‘Lvevl’ Pack keeps the same incomprehensible name as its brethren. Also similar are its use of black nylon underlay, taupe lining and metallic hooks in place of a couple eyelets. Like the first Half Cab we gazed upon lustily, these joints feature black suede to accent the nylon. As is the case with the coffee brown Half Cabs, these await your approval at Fuctard.

The Nike Tier Zero line has been a little too quiet for our liking lately, but it appears that they are springing back into action without losing a step thanks to this new Air Max 90 “Grid Pack” Quickstrike. The pack contains two different versions of the iconic running model, one Air Max 90 Current and one Air Max 90 Flywire. The CT model features a black on black color scheme with a white grid pattern covering most of the upper. The other version sports a grey upper with white and black accents and, of course, plenty of Flywire action to give the shoe some added style points, not to mention the performance factor. Both pairs flaunt a Free sole and more grid pattern on the insoles. Look for both these lightweight, technologically advanced beauties to hit Nort Berlin, as well as other select Tier Zero accounts on April 17th. via HighSnobiety.

“Even more Half Cabs,” you ask? When the results are as solid as these, the picture above should be sufficient to answer. For the sake of completion, let’s say a few words about the latest pair of Vans Half Cabs from their Suede Croc Pack. These joints rock a rich burgundy suede construction with a black tongue and white on the laces and midsole. The other two pairs were available at Hawaii’s In4mation, but the only place we’ve had luck finding these thusfar is Japan’s Fuctard, who also have the charcoal grey and purple pair.
