 New Balance 996 Candy Pack

While not defined by a colour system per se, another new pack of New Balance 996s a wide array of skillfully placed hues.  The New Balance 996 Candy Pack also isn’t quite as obvious in its send-ups as the similarly titled pack from Saucony, but their intent is clear.  A pair in purple and pink with black and grey accents features candy bit-like ‘n’ buttons above the top eyelets along with colourful polka dots on the tongue tag.  The other pair is decidedly more uniform but perhaps even flashier in a chocolate bar wrapper-inspired metallic silver.  As with the Pantone Pack, these joints should hit select US New Balance Lifestyle retailers soon.  If you’re too hungry to wait, cop a handful of pairs now at atmos.

Nike Sky Force High Black White

We’ve seen the Big Nike get its fair share of attention lately.  From ‘regular’ releases to a few standouts, the Dunk’s little brother is enjoying its time in the spotlight.  Perhaps jealous of its perpetual neglect, the latest retro release from Nike Basketball’s archives is set to make its presence known.  Originally released about a year before the first Dunks back in 1984, the Nike Sky Force High goes strong to the rack in this tough yet simple combination of white on black.  Instead of the Big Nike’s heel script, these have an italicized insignia embroidered onto the outside ankles.  If you’re feelin’ the old school vibe these radiate, cop a pair now at Fuctard.

Puma Clyde Hall of Game Pack NY, Chicago & LA

With NBA Playoff time right around the corner, teams are jockeying for position.  Some hope to secure home court advantage, while others are scraping for the last few spots.  The Puma Clyde Hall of Game Pack features designs inspired by the uniforms of teams from both groups.  Above, we see a pair clearly referencing the Western Conference-leading LA Lakers.  There’s another pair reppin’ Da Bulls, who currently have the East’s seventh seed on lock.  While Madison Square Garden is undubitably the Mecca of professional basketball, their Knickerbockers sit in 13th place in the East.  Though they’re not mathematically eliminated just yet, these kicks are probably as close as they’ll get to competing after April.  All three rich suede lowtops are available now at Puma retailers like The Good Will Out.

Vans Vault Half Cab LX Lvevl Pack Coffee Black

We appreciated the black pair totally on its looks and are psyched to learn now that they’re part of a larger pack.  The Vans Vault Half Cab LX shown above joins the aforementioned black joints and another black pair that we’ll show you later today (this time a Sk8-Hi) in the ‘Lvevl’ Pack.  We’re not sure what ‘Lvevl’ means, other than its obvious transposition of ‘level’ and its association with elegance.  These joints swap out black suede for coffee brown but keep the black nylon, taupe lining and metallic hook eyelet to keep the theme going.  These are also available now at a Japanese e-tailer: this time it’s Fuctard.

New Balance 996 Pantone Pack

First seen back in January, this new pack of New Balance runners gives the term ‘colourblocking’ a new meaning.  The New Balance 996 Pantone Pack draws inspiration from what is probably the world’s foremost authority in colour matching.  This pack features two unique yet similar takes on the 996: one in white, another in tonal red/pink.  The white pair features a virtual kaleidoscope of accent colours, while the red pair reminds us of the Pantone logo.  Both feature a six-block rectangular colour swatch on the heel, and the same shades are applied in reverse to the tongue tag.  You can cop these now at atmos, and stateside soon at select New Balance Lifestyle retailers.

Air Jordan 1 Premier Hare Detail Photos
Photos: 95Soleman for Sneaker News

The Air Jordan I Retro “Hare” has been talked about ever since pictures of a design of the shoe leaked in December of last year. Now it looks like the shoes have finally hit the internet and they will be releasing soon. The Air Jordan I “Hare” features a Bugs Bunny character doing the Jumpman pose graphic and the word “Hare” on the shoe’s tongue as well as the word “Hare” on the back of the heel’s of the shoe. The colorway of this particular Air Jordan I came from the Air Jordan VII “Hare” which was known as the original Bugs Bunny Air Jordan. These are scheduled for an April 11th release but we’ve already found a number of pairs on ebay.

Nike Twilight White Electrolime Black

Earlier this month Nike released one colorway of this retro running model called the, Nike Twilight, and now they’ve just released a new colorway that’s a bit brighter in White, Electrolime, and Black. The Twilight is somewhat of a fusion or hybrid as it combines some of the aesthetics of Nike’s greatest running shoes from past years into this model. The White, Electrolime, and Black definitely gives the shoe a new look and the touch of Infared makes it look even better. You can pick these up now at the NikeStore.

Nike Air Force II High Fresh Water

Recently, Nike has created a buzz by bringing back two of its classic models in a Fresh Water colorway.  The Air Max 95 and Air Griffey Max 1 have been giving Fresh Water a good name, and now another, more overlooked classic will join the club. The forgotten younger brother of the Air Force 1, the Air Force II High, is back in a nice new White/Fresh Water/Black colorway and is looking as good as it ever has. The sneaker features a white and black leather upper with sections of black on black elephant print and, of course, Fresh Water accents and laces. While the Air Force II may not have quite as loyal of a fan base as the other two Fresh Water models, it seems that this color scheme can go a long way. Help yourself and the Air Force II comeback by picking up a pair now at nikestore.

 Vans Khaki Pack Spring 09

It seems like Vans never runs out of ways to spice up their legendary catalog of kicks. Like the Goatskin pack that we showed you earlier, this new “Khaki” collection from Vans spreads a new color concept across four of their classic models, this time using a slightly more low-key approach. The Sk8-Hi, Chukka, Slip-On and Authentic all receive solid, faded green canvas uppers, giving them a nice casual, but stylish look. The green on all four models is complemented by bronze accents and laces with a bronze stripe lining the top edge of each shoe’s traditional white midsole. Expect the entire “Khaki” pack to begin hitting select Vans retailers in the near future. via HighSnobiety.
