Nike’s newest Dunk High Premium is being officially called the Nike Dunk High Premium 08, even though it’s 2009 already. Regardless of the name, this Dunk High features some of Nike’s best materials and applications as the Dunk High uses a woven fabric much like that of the fabric seen on various Footscape Woven shoes. The woven material even comes with a hit of 3M in it’s Neutral Grey colorway. The shoe also features some more Neutral Grey, Black, as well as White. You can pick your pair up now at NikeStore.

For the most part, while other companies are stressing over how to create the next hot style, Vans is concentrating on how to put creative new spins on their reliable classic models. In the case of their new “Goatskin” pack, Vans has given four of their well-known favorites a luxurious makeover, adding dark brown and metallic silver accents to tan suede uppers on the Sk8-Hi, Slip-On, Authentic and Prison Issue. All four shoes in this pack have a similar color scheme and basic aesthetic, but there is enough variety in the models, that if you like the color combo, you should be able to find at least one pair that suits your own personal style. Check for this collection at select Vans Vault accounts some time this spring/summer. via HighSnobiety.

We saw the Nike Women’s Aqua Woven ND for the first time about a week ago. We found the aquasock-like shoe for summer just a bit earlier than expected, along with a new colour. The purple/black/pink and aqua/pink pairs are both here, joined by this new pair in yellow and pink. All three feature a Free-like sole and a simple Velcro strap as the only fastener. If you plan to get wet and wild this summer, any or all three can be yours now from atmos.

Just in time for spring comes a nice new Nike drop for the ladies. Last month, we showed you some casual GTS low models, and now the Nike GTS High is here with a bold look that is freshly dipped in some undeniably springtime colors. Although the GTS was inspired by some classic tennis models, it also bears a resemblance in certain ways to the Nike Blazer. With the huge popularity of the Blazer right now, this shoe has the potential to become a well-received new style this season. The simple design of the GTS High is offset by a wildly decorated upper that uses a combination of different sized and colored plaid pastel patterns to grab your attention. A clean white midsole, lining and laces provide some balance to the color overload on the upper and the end result is a fun women’s style that may be colorful, but makes sure to not go too far over the edge. Ladies, if you like what you see and have the confidence to pull these off, you can pick up a pair now at nikestore.

Nothing says eco-friendly quite like the color green. Last month, we gave you a look at the Vans Eco Era model and as you can see, Vans has some more fun up their environmentally conscious sleeves. The latest addition to the “Eco” collection is this new pack, featuring green colorways of the Sk8-Hi and Era. Both shoes use a woven green upper made from recyclable, earth-friendly materials and classic white midsoles. The Vans tags that appear on both sneakers feature a special Vans logo, in which a tree replaces the “A.” This logo can also be found on the box that they come in, along with a reminder that these kicks are “made with post-consumer recycled content.” Get a pair now at DQM and look good while showing your love for Mother Nature.

This is perhaps one of the best colorways we’ve seen of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV to date. This particular pair is being called the “Gold Mamba” or “MLK” Zoom Kobe IV because of the colorway and materials used on the shoe. The reason that people are already calling these the “Gold Mamba” is evident because of the Gold reptile print leather that is used on the shoe. The reason that some people are calling these the “MLK” Kobe’s is because Kobe wore this colorway when his Lakers played on Martin Luther King Day. Rumor is that this colorway will in fact be dropping but as far as where, when, and how limited they will be we still do not know. Stay tuned to Sneaker News for the latest. via HK-Kicks

This summer, Nike Sportswear chose to remix Nike materials within the Nike Sportswear collection with legendary French textile designer Paule Marrot Editions. Once loved by the British royal family and Jackie Kennedy, Paule Marrot Editions has been creating memorable designs since 1920. Nike Sportswear’s footwear designers integrated Paule Marrot’s “Aurore” to inspire the Butterflies print on the new “Skinny” Dunks. Paule Marrot’s textiles were heavily influenced by Marrot’s early studies as a painter under impressionists such as Pierre-August Renoir, Raoul Dufy and Maurice Denis. Accents of the designs show up throughout the rest of the Nike Sportswear Summer 09 Dunk collection as well, not just on the “Skinny Dunks.” The Nike designer team have used inspiration to create the original Nike Dunk Low in unisex styles as well. Look for this pair of Women’s Dunk High Skinny at select Nike Sportswear retailers including nikestore.com.

While 2008 was ‘The Year of the Dunk’ and your author has repeatedly called out the critical mass reached by the use of nylon this annum, I might have to concede that the Nike Blazer is making a strong case to usurp the throne. ‘Year of the Blazer’ or not, we’re seeing one of Beaverton’s oldest models in a ton of fascinating new designs and colourways. This one is another hybrid model: the Nike Blazer 2K9 incorporates design elements from the Huarache 2K4 basketball sneaker into something distinctly new. A ribbed and textured side panel finds its grounding in a simple black suede toe, while white and gold trim add a little colour. These can be yours now at select retailers and NikeStore.

For those of you without a cool boutique in your hood, good news, the Air Max 1 Microstripe Quickstrike just landed on nikestore.com. These kicks feature a canvas upper, completely covered by thinly spaced University Blue stripes over a white base. The pattern changes slightly on the toe box and around the ankle with the lines becoming much finer, creating a more solid appearance on those sections in the process. White accents are incorporated on the Swoosh, midsole, lining and laces, with a classic gum outsole supplying a final style touch. Look for these now at Nike Quickstrike accounts but also at nikestore.com.
