Nike Air Trainer 1 White Stealth Black Blue

The Air Trainer 1 was one of the first shoes released by Nike that fit athletes needs for a shoe that could do it all, it was essentially one of the products that introduced the world to the idea of cross training. Now Nike has brought this model back again in this fresh new colorway of White, Stealth, Black, and Blue that uses a mixture of nubuck and leather on the sneaker’s upper. Another reason you might remember this shoe is because tennis great, John McEnroe, was one of the Nike athletes that wore this model when he still played. These are available now at select retailers including JD Sports.

Nike Air Max Skyline Grey University Blue Obsidian

The Nike Air Max Skyline is a hybrid model that maintains retro looks primarily through its use of the pre-Air Max 93-style Air sole.  Used sparingly since its December 2008 debut, we’ve seen a few models that left us hungry for more.  This newest pair doesn’t disappoint, coming off cool and collected in a smooth mix of neutral and dark grey combined with obsidian and university blue touches.  This stunner, along with another new pair in white with metallic silver accents are both available now at select retailers and NikeStore.

Nike KD1 Montrose Christian PE

The Nike KD1, Kevin Durant’s first signature Nike Basketball shoe, looked to KD’s road to the NBA as inspiration for various pieces of the shoe. If you look closely at a pair then you’ll notice the various details that are featured on the shoe that honor where Durant came from. One of the places that Durant chose to create a special colorway for was his High School alma mater, Montrose Christian High School, where a numbrer of McDonald’s All-American players like himself have played at. This KD1 uses the Montrose Christian colors, Pine Green and White, on the shoe’s upper in a suede material, while using a translucent outsole to give the shoe some flair. Additionally instead of finding KD’s college/NBA number, 35, you will see that the number 3 is inscripted on the medial side of the shoe, which happens to be the number KD wore at Montrose. via Osneaker

Nike Air Max 95 Fresh Water Neutral Grey

So many colorways of the Air Max 95 have dropped over the years, but nothing seems to bring out its full potential quite like the classic black-to-grey gradient coloring. Back in October, we showed you a preview of two upcoming versions using this classic color scheme as their base, and now the Fresh Water colorway has arrived. Like the beloved Neon retro version that was recently re-released in Japan, this Air Max 95 features a black midsole with each layer getting lighter as they ascend on the upper. The only real difference with these is that they obviously swap the Neon Yellow for Fresh Water accents. The result is an incredible retro model with a nice new color twist. Look for these now at most retailers including nikestore.com.

Nike RT1 High @ Nikestore

The RT1 draws influences from Nike’s classic Air Trainer 1 (RT1 = Revolution Trainer 1), but the RT1 stands out from Nike’s lineage with a fresh style of it’s own. For the black/red of the RT1, a white sole starts things off being accented by a 3/4′s red out-sole. On the upper you will find an all black scheme, but with an abundant amount of differently textured black, leather. The top of the toe-box, tongue and part of the mid-panel are all perforated and surrounded by smooth, glossy black leather. An expected and welcomed “Nike Air” is embroidered onto the heel and surrounded by a grey/black patch of leather that features an asymmetrical, non-uniform honeycomb design (almost reminiscent of a magnified safari print). Inside the sneaker you will find a fine, red fabric that is adorned with black paisley printings. Look for these now at select Nike retailers as well as on nikestore.com.

Nike Air Force II High Premium Nintendo Wii @ Nikestore
Photos: hubble_bubbler

The original clear Air Force II by ESPO was one of the more innovative uses of material when it released several years back.  These make similarly effective use of the transparent panels and midsoles as a part of a larger concept.  The Nike Air Force II pictured above is a key part of the Nintendo Wii Pack which includes a Blazer and Air Max 95.  All rock a white and silver colourway with touches of blue inspired by the ever-popular console’s case and power buttons, respectively.  This AF2 is particularly satisfying because it uses a ton of other dope materials beyond the clearly interesting side panels, including ostrich leather above the transparent insert, Safari print on the toebox and a crazy circuit board pattern etched into the metallic silver overlay.  They had quite a long buildup, and we’re still not sure of a solid date on the AM95s, but these can be yours if you act fast.  Look for these now at select Nike retailers including nikestore.com.

Nike Blazer High Premium Nintendo Wii @ Nikestore
Photos: Sole Fresh Sole Clean

Nike is well aware that many sneakerheads are as passionate about their video gaming as they are about their kicks. Nike has already released sneakers inspired by classic Nintendo and Playstation imagery and now they will turn their attention to the Nintendo Wii for a special pack. One of the models that will be getting the Wii treatment is this crisp Blazer High. The shoe features a solid white upper with several subtle and not-so-subtle nods to the Nintendo Wii gaming system. Orange stitching and a Nike on/off tongue logo combine with a blue-tinted clear sole and transparent microchip printed lacing panels to really convey the feel of the Nintendo Wii design. The shoe also sports some white ostrich material on the heel and laces that are similar to the strap from the Wii controllers.  Look for these now at select Nike retailers including nikestore.com.
