We just saw a new release from Converse Skateboarding, and although these aren’t a new model, the pair pictured above is enjoying its time in this dope new style. The Vans J-Lay Mid Fade is Johnny Layton’s pro model. Vans has been relying heavily upon classic models, but these joints show that they still got it, and vulcanized rubber soles still have their place in the griptape game. The dark purple suede toe on these gives way to canvas, upon which a gradient from dark to a very light lilac colour is placed. Feel free to cop these now from BSS.

Yesterday, we saw a torrential downpour of New Balance runners set to drop later this year. Nike isn’t sleeping on theirs either, and here are a bunch set to drop later this year. Key amongst these are the Air Max 1 commemorating the 40th anniversary of Neil Armstrong’s lunar landing and an Air Max 95 that joins two other dope kicks in the Wii Pack. Along with those are some other AM1s, a tight new Air Structure Triax, a single Air Max Light, one Air Classic BW and two other Air Max 90s. We expect these over the next three months during the Summer 2009 fashion season and will have more pics and information on each as their individual releases approach. via Kenlu//edited by Sneaker News

Last week we found a number of pairs of the Nike Air Tech Challenge Hybrid on eBay but did not have a definite word on release else where, this morning they dropped on nikestore.com.
Tennis great, Andre Agassi’s shoe, the Nike Air Tech Challenge was one of Nike’s hottest models back in the late 80′s and early 90′s and was even embraced by those with no appreciation whatsoever for tennis. There were four Air Tech Challenge models released between 1989 and 1992 and now the most recognizable attributes of each have all been combined into one shoe that pays homage to the entire line.
We showed you another colorway of the Air Tech Challenge Hybrid a few months back, but this one seems to do it even more justice in terms of trying to capture the look of all four. You can immediately pick out the Lava graphics from the ATC II, the wavy Volt Yellow section from the ATC III and the wildly colorful heel from the ATC IV, but you’ll have to look closer to find other retro inclusions in this hybrid design. Thanks sugaray for the heads up.

Nike recently teamed up with Liberty again on another Dunk High, this new release combines a number of different Liberty patterns on the upper of the Dunk High as opposed to the single pattern that we saw on the two pairs released back in April. In addition to using the Liberty fabrics, this colorway was created together with Sofia Coppola’s Japan based Milkfed. The upper uses at least four different fabric patterns from the London based Liberty, and when pieced together it definitely gives the shoe a bolder look. Additionally the shoes feature Nike Zoom Air to give the shoes more cushion and a smoother ride when wearing it. For the ladies out there who have been looking for these, you can find them now at nikestore.com.

As a part of the Nike 1World Air Force 1 project, the brand looked to work with 18 different influencers across the world. Three different regions were looked to to provide the influencers including, the US, Europe, and Asia. Europe has already seen a couple influencers release their 1World Air Force 1′s including Busy P, Booba, and Marok. Now it’s time for another native of Berlin, Feride Uslu, to collaborate with Nike on the 1World project. Uslu whose brand Uslu Airlines is known for various collaborations with some of the world’s finest brands but more so for their high quality nail polish.
Uslu Airlines was inspired coincidentally by airplanes and the airport for their Air Force 1. Sheep lining is used on the sneaker as it’s the same material used for the pilot seats in an airplane. The logo on the tongue of the shoe uses Green because it’s the same color on all the aviation towers and neon for the uniform color that is worn by airport employees. The shoe laces are White with a Pink stripe going through to represent the cords of a parachute. Wood Wood Berline will bethe first store to release this shoe on April 3rd after which the sneaker will be available at select Nike Tier 0 accounts worldwide on April 11th.

Like the Pau Gasol PE from earlier, we also showed you Carlos Boozer’s personalized Hypermax last month. Thanks to these new images, you can get a better look at some of the finer details of Boozer’s kicks from the Utah Jazz inspired colorway to the “C BOOZ” signature on the heel and everything in between. Visually, everything seems to come together nicely on this player exclusive model and it does’t hurt that they are surprisingly lightweight and well constructed for battling in the paint. Just like the Gasol Hypermax, these unreleased samples are just begging for a retail release, but that doesn’t seem likely. The fact is that the only place you’re going to find them is at osneaker, so you’d better act fast.

Last month, we showed you a look at Pau Gasol’s Nike Air Hypermax PE and now we bring you some new detailed images. Gasol’s feet have been looking good this season while putting in work for the Lakers. The purple and yellow color scheme always seems to pop and this Hypermax model is no exception. With its high cut, full Air Max sole unit and ankle strap, this shoe is built for big man performance, providing excellent cushioning and stability. If you want to show your Laker pride or you just dig the colorway, you can get yourself a pair exclusively at osneaker. These kicks are unreleased and very rare, so don’t sleep or you’ll miss your chance.

At this point, he iconic Nike Air Force 1 has seen itself remixed and reinterpreted so many times that perhaps the next move is to go back to basics. Three of the four upcoming Air force 1 models use a simple classic approach, while the fourth proves that there is still plenty of room for evolution. A white/black mid and white/maize and white/red low models take the Air Force 1 back to a simpler time when a different colored Swoosh or outsole on a white leather base was about as different as the shoe got. Now things are different and we’ve become so spoiled by countless wild colorways and crazy limited edition drops that these classic-looking styles seem like a breath of fresh air.
That said, the other new Air Force 1 is a very unique and imaginative style for the ladies that shows the infinite possibilities of using the same white leather upper as a canvas space for cool graphics. This women’s low model features a white on white color scheme with a metallic silver flower design covering the rear half of the upper. Whether you feel compelled to go back to basics or further into the future, the new Air Force 1′s should have you covered. Check out the release info after the jump or visit our Air Force 1 release page for more upcoming drops.
